There shouldn't have been any suspensions in the first place. These 2 persons made it easier for us to evaluate the set's true value.
If Wizards is so insecure about what they release as to rely on the deception they induce upon their customers with the way they slowly spoils their set a candy a day, then perhaps they are the ones who should look in a mirror.
As long as there are no deckbuilding I'm out. What's the point?
And for those of you that will bring up Magic Online, I'll point you to yu-gi-oh decade duels on the x-box 360 arcade (no longer there, but still). Yu-gi-oh also have a online simulator game, it never prevented Decade Duels from having deckbuilding, I wonder why.
Edit: Oh, and did I mention all the DS games? No? Well, I do now...
Some time ago at a local toys shop I've found 2 Fallen Empire booster sitting in a counter for 3,99$ each. I swear these things must have rotted there for a good 10 years or so.
Of course I bought them... I don't care if its the worst set ever, its a friggin unopened Fallen Empire boosters! Pulled the best card of the set... Hymn to Tourach at uncommon.
For some reason I can't seem to find any magic cards at my local Wal-Mart, only Pokemon and some Digimon boosters. -_-
Question: I have never played EDH, probably will, probably won't I don't know, but can these cards be played in a regular casual magic deck? What about T2?
Well, the set was going to be spoiled to the public sooner or later - weither its from wizard themselves showing us 2 or 3 cards a day just to get us excited, or just by releasing the damn set on may 13.
Knowing this fact, what is the point of going ape☺☺☺☺ on everyone with a banhammer just because the set got shown to the public before the day that wizard choosed?
If anything... they don't deceive us into buying their product this time.
"Oh, heres an awesome card that is going to be in New phyrexia, a really AWESOME OVERPOWERED NUT card! but we don't tell you that the set is full of other cards that works well against it! I'll show you another one tomorrow don't forget to come to the site to see it! The set is getting released on may 13 get you cash ready!"

I never got this whole "spoil it at this date, everyone who does it earlier get consequences" thing.
I mean, the set was going to be shown to the public eventually, why would they care if it was shown the 19 of april instead of the 13 of may? The set won't get released any faster because of this.
On topic: that blue preator must have one of the most "I win" effect in magic history... 1st effect: Draw a hand-ful of cards each turn. 2nd effect: your opponent is in topdeck mode. I would definately hate to get that played against me. It cost 10 but still... Reanimate anyone?
Am I the only one who thinks this and planechase doesn't feel really serious?
I mean, yeah they try to be original and all and invent other format than the plain deck vs deck and while they're at it release other things than a set every 3 monthes, but thats just way over the top and just doesn't feel like magic to me. Can anyone actually look at that without a smile?
Oh, of course, people can try it for the sake of it and find it fun, but I think it will be just another unglued set like thing that will rot on a good bunch of shop racks for a good year or 2 because nobody gives a you-know-what about a release that is not a new set.
Pestilence demon: Could be good I guess in casual where people care more about fun then winning, even then, i'd rather play the less costly, more-difficult-to-get-rid-of version of it. Typical constructed junk... BUT it has some potential in limited where it can be the bomb of the deck.
Eldrazi conscription: I can see it as some kind of finisher in a emrakul ramp type of deck in T2: play all is dust, next turn cast emrakul in extra turn cast this... yeah sorry sac 8 permanents and take 25. =X Hope you have some damage prevention or something and even that, annihilator 8 is pretty devasting. = /
Echo mage: I think by the time he gets to level 2 my opponent gonna be well aware of him, unlike the real "oh oh surprise!" twincast. Useless limited card, like the other level-up creatures for that matter: I'd rather draft a 1/1 for 1 then those burdens. Apocalypse chime may sleep in peace knowing that level up will take the place of worse ability ever. Watching wizard trying to defend this will be quite entertaining... "oh it takes skill to play". Sorry if I let myself loose here but those bad-suspend cards kind of fill my glass of hate pretty quickly: it tends to boil over. =P
