In addition to Jor Kadeen, the Prevailer, I think Kalemne, Disciple of Iroas is underappreciated. Even if you completely ignore the experience mechanic which makes an early-game commander scale into the late game, its CMC of 4 is extremely relevant on a (permanent) creature with so much damage potential.

A lot of the Kalemne hate comes from the inherent antagonism of her two abilities: Usually you don't have many creature cards in a Voltron deck other than ETB triggers (e.g., Stoneforge Mystic) and hatebears, possibly Gisela, Blade of Goldnight if you can afford her. But the entire reason you're getting more experience counters pushes you to Voltron. Plus, "creatures with CMC 5 or greater" isn't really a RW thing. They can swing that way, but usually with green's help to actually cast them or some means of cheating them into play.
The main thing about Kalemne is that you really don't have to play her as voltron *or* as stompy. She scales so well with double strike that just getting one or two experience counters over the course of the whole game is enough to make her a beast. You can play a primary aggro strategy with voltron backup and still do just fine with her. Double strike means that she doesn't need much voltron support to become a beast, and she doesn't need any of first strike, double strike, or vigilance from equipment.

What exactly are we debating here? You've brought up a lot of related-but-separate points and it is unclear to me what sort of argument is being made here.

I can't believe that Wizards of the Coast is continuing to support this utter degeneracy. They're complicit with this agenda of making everyone think that cards like Kynaios and Tiro of Meletis are acceptable and should be celebrated. This is an outrage. WotC should be standing up for the values of normal, respectable players instead of catering to the minorities who clearly have a leash on WotC. Making Kynaios and Tiro of Meletis the focus of one of their products just shows that they are growing more bold and reckless. Someone needs to stand up and put a stop to this lunacy. Did we get transported to Bizarro world, where this kind of thing is acceptable? I will be making sure that anyone who is supporting WotC's agenda by playing Kynaios and Tiro of Meletis will be my first target in Commander games, to send a message that their kind is not to be accepted by decent folk.

Just say NO to group hug!

W-wait, why are you looking at me like that?

Love Saskia, it's exactly the commander you want for 'that' guy on the table. You know the one, the person with the esper control deck and a million ghostly prison and propaganda effects.

As "that guy" I dislike this commander. Not biased at all.
You play pillowfort decks but you hate grouphug decks? Laugh

Provided that our read on Saskia is correct, I'm in love. The four color thing doesn't bother me at all, it just gives me more toys to pummel my opponentson with. Grin

I'm 100% down for Saskia's army, she's amazing and fits my playstyle exceptionally well.
This. If I had the cards to support a fourth colour I'd totally convert my Queen Marchesa deck into a Saskia deck. Great mechanics, great art. I love going full-out aggro, and she lets you beat up on pillowforts by only having to deal with any one player's blockers. Plus she has full functionality the turn you play her, which is a big plus in my book.

The Bible belongs in the fiction section because there is no evidence for the extraordinary claims made by it. At least that's what I thought until BS said that the fiction section is only for contempory fiction. It should be updated.
Why? Apart from "I don't like religion," what reason would you have to modify the Dewey Decimal System in such a manner?

What reason do you have to believe that the Bible is a credible source?
Being a credible source is not a requirement for being in the non-fiction section, as per the Dewey Decimal System. It is a document of historical significance, which is reason enough for its inclusion. It is not any sort of statement of support for the Bible or Christianity.

it would be nice if they made Desert basic land cards (I know its already a land) just like Wastes. and just call it something else.
That would be horrific. And even without being basic lands I doubt we'd see a Desert reprint due to WotC looking unfavourably upon "archers" as a mechanic over the last few years for mucking up combat math.

The dwarf shakes her head, not wanting to think too hard on what happened. The angel's scream is still ringing in her mind. Grunting, Dieknuh addresses the group. "What I want to know," she explains, "is if there are any more survivors from these wretched abductors. I could not live with myself if I left anyone to rot in this gods-forsaken place."

Pausing, she adds, "though if we're in the clear I'd like nothing more than to rest in a civilized, torture-free bed." To emphasize, she stretches out, wincing where some of the cuts left superficial-yet-painful damage.

Dieknuh sits through the whole ordeal with an utterly stunned look on her face, doing naught but shuffling around when needed. Stuttering, she asks, "W-what... what just happened?"

Helping Luan up, Dieknuh grabs at the cultist's cloak, attempting to throw the villain off of his balance.
Assuming Luan can act the same turn he goes back to positive HP, Dieknuh uses the Help action to give him advantage on his first attack roll.

Move up, two-handed warhammer attack. Simplicity has its merits.

EDIT: That said, it wouldn't hurt to roll higher than a 1.

Dieknuh readies herself with little more than a nod and a grunt. Whoever's behind that door is about to pay for it.
