Using Luminarch Ascension isn't limited to a once per turn basis. As long as you can pay it's activation cost and it has four quest counters on it, you can keep cranking out tokens.
Could there have been other cards on the field that limited the number of times per turn it could be activated?
My apologies if this was asked before, but I didn't want to take the risk of scrolling down and ruining my fun.
Is there a website that has, or will have, all the official Dominaria spoilers up, without the leaked cards? Google ain't much help in this case and I really want to unwrap this set slowly.
Yes, but I think that's too soon after introducing Krenko as a legendary creature. Comparing it to Bolas and Karn would be unfair since WotC wasn't aware that they would be making planeswalkers, but it took quite some years after they made a planeswalker out of Venser
I recently started collecting promo cards and I stumbled upon something awkward. In this list ( http://www.magiccards.info/grc/en.html ), Woolly Thoctar is number 22, and Path to Exile is number 24.
As the title of the topic already suggests, my question is, where did number 23 in this list go? I already figured out the deal with number 41 to 45 (planechase), but I cant seem to find 23 :')
EDIT: Wrong forum >___> Can I move or delete this?
True, but if you play the Colonnade, you are unable to draw any mana from it on that turn. That feels like missing a land drop that turn, which you dont want in Legacy.
And by the time you're be able to activate this, you should be playing game breaking spells, not activate an expensive manland =p
I play Legacy and, just like most of the cards in a new set, this card won't make it in any of the good performing decks. The fact that it Cipt's kills it, because you want to play cards every single turn.
thanks for the suggestion Zupakino, but was hoping for something Standard legal.
Ah, something standard legal... Wouldn't know which card would be viable in there, since I dont play standard ;p
Isn't a normal counterpack enough to protect it? =) Are there enough playable counters in standard to do that?

On top of that 3WU to activate is too much
