MBC with Killing Wave seems nice. Clean board then play your own fatties. Had to read it again to make sure that it targets all creatures. So yes you will have to pay if for your own creatures if there are any out.
Connotations does not mean sounds like. Yes the number four does sound like the word for death. However, the number seven has an implied meaning that relates to death. Not exactly the same.
Has to shoot itself twice from the pump, but yes, basic idea.
No it doesn't. Undying gives it a +1/+1 counter so it can use that to shoot 3 times and then that last one to shoot itself. Even better the second time around.
If I read the rules correctly, a transform card always enters the battlefield face-up. Thus, it'll be Loyal Cathar again when it comes back with a +1/+1 counter on it. If it dies again, it'll just transform again.
My Kaalia deck just found another card it wants. Man my wallet is going to be hurting for a while. Especially since I can't seem to find a white Akroma and will probably have to buy it online.
Sorry if this has been mentioned before, but now I wanna play Xenograft and Rooftop Storm for MOAR ZOMBIES, if it works, if not I'll guess I'll stick to Conspiracy
You'll have to use Conspiracy. Xenograft only affects the creature once they are on the battlefield while Conspiracy affects them wherever.
All of your posts are to say stuff like 'I'm quitting' or 'X new thing is ruining magic'.
So quit.
I'm sorry that I like to give WoTC the benefit of the doubt, rather than make uninformed kneejerk reactions to every new thing that comes along the way.
Time has shown that the M10 rules changes WERE a good thing, and its hilarious that you still cling to the opinion that they were not. At least you're consistent, but it doesn't make your opinions any more reasonable.
This mechanic is not going to be a dealbreaker. People may not like it, but people didn't like infect either, and we got along fine.
I'm sorry that I notice, as does Charlequin, that there is a certain expected level of complaint whenever WoTC does ANYTHING, and it always blows over and the game moves on.
If people quit magic, they quit without making a bunch of trollish complainy posts on a message board. They just quit.
Oh god the people complaining about infect...
Urza definitely speaks the truth here. Not everyone will be happy. Sure the people unhappy with it are definitely louder, but they're also usually the only people posting. I'm OK with the transform mechanic and wasn't even going to post about it until I saw this topic.
That being said, I don't mind this mechanic too much. Sure I'll have to buy some new sleeves since I use penny sleeves a bit too much but its just like whatever. Those CF sleeves look nice and they're pretty cheap too so I'll just get several packs of those I guess.
The inclusion of score pads indicates to me that Wizards recieved quite a few complaints from players about having to bring in their own paper and pen to track life totals. Cue complaints about bringing in a pen.
Captain of the Watch needs to make a comeback in M12. There's so many Soldier Tokens she can take advantage of, including the ones made from this Artifact.
Well she is in Duels 2012. Not that it is indicative of anything but if it gets your hopes up, here you go.
Doesn't any one else think that it would be funny to Mindslaver someone with Sundial of the Infinite out? Tap out their lands and use one mana to end their turn on the upkeep just sounds hilarious n paininducing in a casual game which is where I see it going.
As for Chandra, better than Nalaar. Much better than Ablaze. Of course that really depends on circumstance but I still like it. I still wish that they made her ultimate copy every instant and sorcery that you cast for the rest of the turn and make some new minus ability instead. Oh well. Double Cruel Ultimatum anyone (granted I took 4 to the face once and still lived to win the game lol)?

My LGS still has FTV: Relics but not at MSRP unfortunately. $90 + tax. I was contemplating buying it...
