On top of that, I don't like the tonal feel of Planeswalkers being like action figures. I preferred the demi-god feel instead of this mortal wizard kick.
Wizards is smart to have a sort of 'action figure' in their strategy. While it may hurt the feel of the game for some, it does draw new players in.
And I think it would be easy to flow with the story when it comes to producing new planeswalkers. Basic tropes like going into exile, getting killed off, being put to sleep, or being banished to another dimension could thin out the Planeswalker population. Tezzeret the Seeker was mindwiped and presumably retired after Alara, and then became Tezzeret, Agent of Bolas.
Leyline's ability is a replacement effect. The moment you sac Pridemage, it's sent to the graveyard. Leyline replaces that, and exiles him instead. Then the Pridemage's ability goes on the stack.

Simply tell them, it will help. And then we can hope to stop that stereotype. But honestly I've never had this problem here.
...Maybe it's an American thing ? (Apparently not, thanks Xoma )
Sorry dude, just stating facts here. Haha.
I would try doing what blad01 said though. Try telling them. Not sure if it'll work, but might as well. If they're offended, might keep them away for two-three weeks. Haha.
I've had that experience more than a dozen times. In some recurring cases, the other players start to describe the people by the way the smell. I'm serious. One guy smells like rust, all the time. He's a dentist. I don't know how that happened.
I don't know what is it with some players. Smelling like smoke and cigarettes, I understand. But when you smell like you haven't showered, I don't know why you'd even go out. Maybe the local shop's become like a safe haven for them, a place where they won't be judged by peers, so they're at the most comfortable when there.
It explains why some people where high socks with sandals, too.
It also depends on the timing and method of killing. If killed with an instant (i.e. Doom Blade, Terminate, Condemn) before combat damage, then the other myrs lose their buffs before they deal damage to you.
If killed because of regular combat damage with another creature, you still have to take the buffed damage from the other myrs.
If killed with first strike damage, the buffs are lost before damage can be dealt.
I'm running the Goblin variant of the archetype, and I've been using Staggershock since I put it together. Question though, in a Valakut/Eldrazi Green dominated meta, would it be more advisable for me to just run Flame Slashes instead?
My goblins don't benefit from Staggershock, and I have no Kiln Fiend in the deck, so should I just switch to Flame Slash and get rid of the walls so my goblins can get through?
Looking at the faces I think it is closer to Goldmane than Vengeant - what ya reckon??
He hasn't been Vengeant since the Alara, after his battle with Bolas. So I think it's safe to say that any future incarnations of him, unless they take place before the Alara timeline, will be in Goldmane/Post-Goldmane form.

If the Skinrender is the only creature on the field, then yes, he has to put the counters on himself.

Player B swings, Player A blocks Primeval with Abyssal Persecutor. Damage goes through, who wins?
I'm asking because this came up at an FNM, and it took a level 3 judge to call the decision.

Funny guy. Haha.
They're only bad in relation to the newer walkers, which are overpowered anyway. They are, in fact, very balanced.
Tezzeret will probably be the new walker in Besieged, in a different color.
