I'm not sure if I can really name a favorite piece of Magic art, but I've always liked the work of Anson Maddocks and Mark Tedin (especially the art of a certain Mono Artifact he did).
Based solely on the art we've seen and how I felt about Champions, I don't think Betrayers will suck. However it is really early to make any kind of accurate judgement.
Heh. As funky as it looks large, though, at this point I think I'll keep it. Maybe after the wedding and the cruise I'll spend the time to make one that takes advantage of the larger dimensions and file size allowed here.
Holy crap, you can have some huge avatars on here. Mine, I think, looks better in its smaller version since I didn't put enough effort into it so that the motion of the lava was very smooth. Oh well, it still looks cool huge.
