Lavaball Trap will find a home with Koth type decks. You can turn 5 lavaball without any accel or trap cost with a turn 4 koth...pretty powerfull setting them back 2 lands and controlling the aggro.
I would like to see a ponza type deck...Birds and maybe explore as mana ramp...we'll see
Give us enough Sacred Wolf's type cards and you might see a RG deck on par with the old fires deck. With the set being unknown and the hint of a mox opal in the works I think its possible to see green stompy as well. Turn 1 3/2 trampler turn 2 sacred wolf/sword...if they don't have any solid quick removal by turn 3 you already hit them for 10-12 plus mill plus another 2/2 to deal with.
Tezzeret the Seeker - No sense in not playing this guy, unless money is the issue. He can untap a overseer or two. He can search for any artifact in your deck and put into play except Scourglass.
A good sideboard option for pesky red that likes to burn is Mark of Asylum
Tokyo Tea for those who don't know its a Long Island Ice Tea but instead of Coke ask for Melon. I'm also a big fan of Hypnotiq...when I'm at home since its about 30$ a bottle.
I have never met a player who plays well and was stupid. I have met players who are intelligent whom play stupidly.
Social class does not effect whether or not you can play magic well, thus assuming you are intelligent; at least not in my area. Rich does not equal smart.
There are analytical minds that love magic and are highly intelligent but on the opposite side there are plenty of people who think elves and dragons are amazing and play the game.
My conclusion is all types of people including: race, creed, and social class play magic. As mentioned above non of those options directly relate to higher intelligence thus allowing us to agree that an individuals intelligence does not relate to the percentage of people who play magic.
Highly educated families might be able to afford to pay for the game for their children but rich children are necessarily smart.
Urza and Mishra didn't die during the Brothers' War. Urza died in the act of completing the Legacy Weapon (yes, that's his head in the tenth edition art). Mishra, as far as I know, is still alive on Phyrexia.
It didn't spike because people compared it to Timetwister, it spiked because people compared it to Time Spiral, which is a genuinely broken card because it's a free draw-7. Well, I said it would end up around $10, and it fell even further than that. I don't think it'll go much lower than $5-6 though; it's still a powerful ability with a callback to old school power, and it'll still be popular with the casual crowd.
A certain online store is selling for 4.50 and with 150 in stock...so it's on its way down to 3-4$ range
X'an Plaguebearer - 2BB
Planeswalker -- X'an (M)
[+1]: You may put a -1/-1 counter on a creature you control. If you do, put another loyalty counter on X'an.
[-1]: Put a 1/1 black Minion creature token onto the battlefield with "When this creature leaves the battlefield, each opponent loses 1 life."
[-5]: Target opponent gets an emblem with "Creatures you control get -1/-1."
3
Maybe the first ability can be either/or and if it's your and not your opp you get another counter. Second ability seems like it should just be a 2/2 zombie with no ability.
Tree of Life
Land (U)
At the beginning of your upkeep, put a ring counter on Tree of Life. T: Add 1 to your mana pool. 1G, Sacrifice Tree of Life: You gain 1 life for each ring counter on Tree of Life.
I think you can drop the mana cost on the life gain. Seems fine otherwise.
I'd almost prefer that they stay same color with a same color effect
Sacrificial Volcano
Land t: add 1 to your mana pool
Level Up - R
Lvl 1-3 : Add R to your mana pool.
Lvl 4 : Destroy target artifact or land. Deal 2 damage to its controller and yourself. Destroy ~.
Yeah... good luck keeping Oblivion Ring and Path to Exile off. I recommend you put Protection from White creatures in the sideboard as Plan B.
I would recommend 3 Whispersilk Cloak, 1 Sword of Vengeance, and 4 Everflowing Chalices. Basilisk Collar is not as great because Lich lacks evasion. Whispersilk Cloak keeps them from targeting the Lich itself with Dehydration effects.
And blue to bounce would probably be VERY GOOD, almost mandatory; any Lich can survive off any counter.
And actually, this would be a decent deck to run Dark Tutelage in, seeing as how Lich and most of the artifacts cost 3 or less. Or not, up to you. Dark Tutelage is my pet card, I really want to break it.
Well if we are going to act like this should post rotation than why not include Sword of Body and Mind -- we know its pro green and blue which makes it perfect with the lich.

Ornithopter - Looks good on papaer with the overseer but I don't think it has a place here.
Metallurgeon - I don't think he works in this format. With Condem, Path to Exile, Oblivion Ring, Consuming Vapors, Consume the Meek, and Smother he doesn't do enough to make me want to play him.
Tezzeret the Seeker - No sense in not playing this guy, unless money is the issue. He can untap a overseer or two. He can search for any artifact in your deck and put into play except Scourglass.

Thanks.
I don't see how it can't be blue. Plenty of blue spells allow for sorcery or instant recursion.
To her knowledge this is how it ended.
I thought about making the ability -9 or something high and having them cast the spells for free, but i felt that was overpowered.

I would think this could cost just B and be fine or BB and be a 2/1

Wouldn't this cause a rules headache?
