What rarity are you planing that extremely narrow Aura to be? The effect is about uncommon level, except that it only works when paired with a mythic rare card.
This is important and not important all at the same time. Narrow cards are printed all of the time. As long as the set isn't based around Enchant Planeswalkers, it's probably not a problem.
I have personally speculated that they do this deliberately to allow rapid initial introduction of the cards into the hands of players. Buy flooding the market a little but they prevent some price inflation (remember Wizards wants people to be able to get the cards.)
@ dasheiff: I don't think the flavour is any different to what it was before. It probably still represents the same thing.
I thought that the original flavour was that you couldn't cast a legend in play because there was only 1 and therefore already there and under someone else's control. And that having them both die was a matter of mechanics.
Liberty Wings ability should read, "You may return Liberty Wings...". Otherwise, if 2 exist in your graveyard at the same time, they'll murder each other when they come into play for wearing the same dress. Or you could make it non-Legendary.
Also When Vesuvan Doppelganger stops being a Pithing Needle and starts being a Phyrexian Revoker it looses all knowledge of it's former self so it wouldn't remember what card you picked anyway.
I don't think this is true because then it wouldn't matter if the abilities were linked.
Q: Is there any way to shut down a land's activated abilities with Phyrexian Revoker?
A: No, there's no way, and that's a fact, not a challenge. Phyrexian Revoker's second ability is linked to its first ability, which means that only a name that was chosen as a result of the first ability can be used by the second ability. Even if Phyrexian Revoker somehow gained an ability that allows you to name a land card, the second ability won't use that name.
Murder: Good
Necromancy: Man I really would like to be able to reanimate the card I just discarded, but that would be broken. However, to avoid confusing may want to exile.
Cognivory: Probably needs higher cost. 7?

Also I do like #4.
These are both correct.

I always wondered the new flavor of Legendary.

I guess this doesn't work but I don't know why.
- Pithing Needle
- March of the Machines
- Phyrexian Revoker
are in play.I cast Vesuvan Doppelganger choosing the animated Pithing Needle, Naming Celestial Colonnade. Next upkeep Vesuvan Doppelganger becomes Phyrexian Revoker.
Wait does it have the ability that it has no abilities?
Shimmer is too powerful.
Tetrite: Weak but Neat.
Lurker: Good limited card. I like it.
Necromancy: Man I really would like to be able to reanimate the card I just discarded, but that would be broken. However, to avoid confusing may want to exile.
