It's borderland ranger or Goblin artillery, but it's close.

I as of now recommend that Duress be inserted into all of these to consume the stupid vote. I play mainly constructed too, doesn't mean i couldn't read the duress spoiler and think for ten seconds about limited and decide that's not its place at all....

I think i take Sleep. Since my pack has no other good blue and blue doesn't have enough depth for me to be passing a good blue common next, i can ensure that the guy on my left doesn't play blue, so maybe he passes me another sleep or mind control next pack. I probably knock him into white, but white being awesome works both ways, there will probably be multiple people at the table squabbling over white. Just pick red, black, or green next.

Elvish piper keeps people guessing, but some people tend to think "it makes creatures!" and gloss over the -1 card advatange. Its a good effect, it is, but the fact you have a 1/1 creature where you could have another shrouded leopard or whatever thats called is a setback in card advantage. Thats what keeps it out of being first pickable. I think its still a good card. Bluffing with it does achieve its effect, but i think the right play is to ignore it and hope for the best.. So i would assume intelligent opponents and make sure you have enough good creatures in your deck to fulfill your bluff. (unless im the unintelligent one about correct response play)

The sixth time I see an acronym without guessing, I ask. Sorry if there's a q&a for this. What's rdw?

    Quote from claytonthegreat
nobody said anything about a match up of kithkin or soldiers vs. aggro weenie deck. personally i think both would together would make a good deck but if you had to seperate and divide i think soldier has kithkin beat

He said "in" not "against". Martial coup is unusable in a traditional, fast, WW. So is a creature whose only redeeming quality is fogging, that's not aggressive.

Elspeth is also a bit slower for WW, though not too bad..

If soldiers comes out, it will probably be a weird long or midrange thing using elspeth for resilience. But kithkin is going to be better at what it does than soldiers is at what it does.

Infest is indeed probably prevalent enough to drop archdruid from main board.

Why do you think sign in blood would give BG elves the edge over kithkin of all things? Kithkin is faster than elves, losing 2 life offers them a chance to end the game before they run out of gas. The only thing it will do is let you see one more card, because if it actually comes down to using your whole hand and the new card, you've already succeeded in drawing out the game to a point where kithkin is uncomfortable, and can start doing nasty things with profane command and chameleon colossus and etc.

Where sign in blood would be useful is in games against control, where walls and mass removal probably will drag you out to a longer game and you'll need the cards.

It might get sideboarded, but I think I'd rather sideboard duress or more thoughtsiezery.
