The last guy who tried to promote his streaming had the post deleted. I'm not sure what became of him though. maybe, banned? Suspended? Nothing? Either way, promoting your stream is against the rules. As far as I know and I might be wrong, you are making money off the streamers who watch from the ads. I suggest you pay mtgsalvation a fee if you want to do that.
Then again I may be wrong and justintv doesn't work like twitch. Sorry if that is the case.
It's not even about blue in general. It is about the cards that use the ability to counter spells. Delver wouldn't be nearly as good if it didn't have counters like leaks and negates. There would be no talk of banning delver if the deck didn't run counter spells. Even dissapate should have been 3 blue to cast. Not 2 and 1 colorless.
Evan Erwin just made a twitter comment saying it looks like it is going to be banned. Here is the comment
"Yowza. Looks like Intangible Virtue is gonna be banned in Block. Card was a must-play in that format, so it makes sense."
Now I don't know where he got the information from but it wouldn't shock me if it was true. People playing 4 curse main deck though will get a lot more value out of them. I expect the R/W tokens version will still be extremely good. This should make room for other decks to finish 1st more often though. Either way, I'm happy with the change, should it happen.
Most of them are the same. It depends on which version of storm you choose. Obviously you have the banned ones too like Rite of Flame.
Normally I would recommend Block Constructed which is fairly cheep if you stay away from PW. Right now unfortunately there isn't a lot of diversity (RW Tokens or BW Tokens) but I hope that changes because ISD only had 4-5 viable decks and all but one of them could be built for under 30 tix.
I agree, block is a good format but right now it is just being dominated by tokens. It is such a good deck that people won't play anything else. All versions are good too (r/w, wbg and wb). Been trying for weeks to come up with something other then tokens that can win at least 50% of the time but no luck. Even main decking 4 severs and 4 blas acts still wont get you there. Hopefully something changes soon.
Tokens are running everywhere on MTGO. all versions of it. what is the best way to combat this? i been playing a rdw but unless im on the play with a good starting hand I pretty much lose.
running an older list but still having issues with tokens. on the play with a good hand I can capitalize on it but it needs to have some solid one drops. any updates?
This could be off topic but you guys should see what Cryptozic does with their "fat packs". For only 34.99. Then again this all applies to if you care about deck boxes and play mats. IMO deck boxes and play mats are way better then a D20 and land.

Im speaking from a standard point of view.
Yeah but curse of deaths hold becomes a much better card vs the token decks. The turn 2 IV won't be able to negate the turn 5 counter

Just came across this post after I created this.

I think any deck running black has to main deck at least 3 if not 4 Severs with the way the format is right now.

If this is true you can tell already how bad these decks will be. 4 5cc sideboard cards...
