i dont think thats true
The counterintelligence is only going to matter in green v blue, which is looking to be very nerfy as 'the pendulum swings', whereas regeneration is more relevant against red, black, green, and white is going to kill it no matter what you do, even if you could regen vs doj.
I think a lot of this overrating of cannot be countered comes from the whole blue dominance of the last few years, but as that phases out, we'll see things like regeneration become more useful. Course, its all hypothetical since silvos aint in zen.
true, but its not nearly as terrible as it might seem
giving your opponent a land that activates their rampaging baloths feel wrong, but uh, when you can PTE their rampaging baloths.... yeah. Theres a good chance that even with all the landfall around, such a drawback would never activate anything bad, just because you're pathing the landfall creature itself
If I could point out something, to all the "power creepers":
Silvos, at the same price, has the following differences:
Pro:
G: Regenerate
Cons:
Can be countered
3 less toughness
The toughness is rather negligible, as regeneration more than makes up for that, and when is toughness above 5 going to matter too much in real play? It could be 8/20 for all it cares; its out of bolt range and thats all that matters. On the other hand, the only advantage this guy really holds over silvos is only in the situational position of Green vs Blue and your opponent still has a counterspell left. In all other scenarios, you can use regeneration to your advantage, to avoid DoJ's/Doom Blades/Etc.
Honestly, its only argueably equal to silvos, maybe a little worse, maybe a teeny bit better. But thats far from power creep. Force of nature was power creep'd out of the mainstream with silvos, so we haven't moved since then. (if you want power creep, look at the 1 mana beaters we've been getting)

divination costs 1 more mana, and you get the 2 cards right away, without having to wait 3 lands later
which is totally something they'd do

Creature Removal?
1 CMC?
Small drawback which is insignificant lategame? (gaining a land)
Instant Speed?
