I felt like once I understood why Bridge from Below was so good, I really crossed a threshold in understanding magic.
Like someone else said, understanding that the only point of life that really matters is the last one. Necropotence has taught me very well and some of my friends that I play with are like "why didn't you block that, you just took 5 damage and you only have 10 life left", even though I will still end up winning haha
This card reminds me of the Daemon Weapons from Warhammer.
In Warhammer, powerful Chaos warriors are granted weapons with a Daemon bound in them, granting the weapon really powerful abilities but the Daemon didn't like being trapped in them so it would often rebel and try to hurt you!
In older rulesets, you could release the Daemon to *hopefully* fight on your side.
Really cool, a great shoutout to Elric and also Warhammer. I'm definitely getting one of these.
Dude, squires are going to be uber-rigged! Thank goodness that there are those things that take out squires.
@ Shaharazad-
I was talking to my dog's previous owner's wife's roommates ex-boyfriend from highschool, and they said that the counter you made was false.
It's actually this:
Blue Players Suck 2UUUU
Interrupt
Counter target spell unless its controller gains 20 life and punches you in the face.
You lose the game.
The card that I'm most known for is probably Divinity of Pride. Combined with an Edge of the Divinity and a Soul Kiss, when I'm at 25 life or more this card is a beast, being at least a 17/17.

There is a ton of awesome artwork in this thread, but this is just..wow
When will it be mine turn for awesome artwork...this is awesome. Especially since BW is my favorite color combination. Good job!

The Fallen definitely wins for creepiest art. If I saw that thing at night, goodnight sweet prince. Those eyes stare into your soul.
You may already be friend-zoned at this point, just a warning
Just have her make you dinner or something then

Sure there are chemical problems SOMETIMES, but not always. Most fat people like to throw out the thyroid problem. It's more of a lazy problem.
They should have to pay more for healthcare. For the rare few I'm sure who actually have a chemical problem, they should actually get treatment.
Pay more for airlines? Sure.
Is this discrimination? Yes. But you don't see normal sized people taking up 2 airline seats, do you?

That's the Blue mythic rare by the way.
And like many others, I plan to replace all of my lands in all of my decks with these.
In my playgroup it's infamous.
