Lines 4-12 of the left column are the exact pulls I got as prize packs from a draft at my lgs.... except they were 1-9 instead. As in the top nine packs of that row. I'm getting two boxes tonight to be able to add more to this than that little tid bit.
O, this is the wiki song!

O, this is the wiki song!
Oh, this here is the wiki song!
You can read it all day long!
And when you get all done,
You'll have lots and lots of fun!
Some people, started reading it
not knowing what it was, but they
kept on reading it just because it's
the cliche wiki song!
Im sorry, that wasnt too constructive, but you guys got Lambchop stuck in my head.... ugh.
On a topic related note, didnt Chainer find it in a delapadated house or something on the outskirts of Cabal city? I forgot if they book had any mention whether it called to him or he was just strolling through the slums and found it. I really need to reread the odessey(sp) storyline. Was one of my favorites.
Player A uses a planeswalkers ability aimed at Player B's creature.
Player B casts a spell to put shroud on said creature.
Player A in response casts a spell that kills said creature instead.
If it was a -X ability, does the planeswalkers loyalty go down? Same with +X, does it go up? Or does just fizzle upon resolution because the target is no longer on the field? Meaning no + or - from the loyalty counters.
Although I do agree with you that the Rite would be a fantastic finisher, Jund is one of the surviving arch-types and seems to be the strongest one as well at this MOMENT in time. And as such, maelstrom pulse is a regular MD/SB spell for the deck.
Although yes, if you are running blue its as simple as a negate or cancel or what have you away. But if you just spent nine mana on the kicked right, you would need the extra two to three open for the negate/cancel.
Where is our little feathery friend just blocked off black from being casted, nuetering Jund's removals, except a triple lightning bolt or a kicked burst lightning plus a lightning bolt.
In which case, if they just spent all that removal on one creature, im sure you would be able to sneak a Baneslayer or other white finisher through pretty safely the next turn.
Pretty much what im trying to say is... unless its a Hellkite or blood witch with the rite, I want something that costs NINE mana to effect the board pretty darn immediately.
Banefire specifically states that if X is five our greater, its damage cannot be prevented.
Does that mean that I cannot cast a redirect effect on it like swerve? I wouldnt be preventing any of its damage or countering it in any way shape or form, but I am changing its target from my head to one of my opponents creatures/his head instead.
Can I get clarification on whether swerve can work on it if X=5 or more?
Its not really about a whole lot of cascading, ball lightning isnt hard to cast at all really. Ive tested this deck minus the white mana sources, baneslayers, and walls as just a straight jund. Placed just fine in a FNM, now Ill give it to you on the walls, they were lulz, but I think I may test this, I just wanted to do jund with a splash of white for the wurms and baneslayers.
Any more idea's anyone (that doesnt butcher the entire idea of the deck of course.)
Now I know I cannot cascade into her, and wall of reverance is a "WTF?" pick, but I LOVED the synergy between the two in my bant deck.
Anyways, unless you guys feel it wiser to take out the walls and put two Enlisted wurm's in their place. Let me know, so that it would be possible to cascade into her. But I dunno about that. No finks or redcaps because I want as little as possible to die to jund charms and v.fallout because my meta is full of them.
Just take a look and tell me how you guys think it would do... any comments are appreciated
It really depends on the meta Badmoon, in mine, I ran it in my jund deck, and laughed as I attacked with a pumped leech, elf, and ball, to finish them off in games easily.
Even after SB, I still thought ball lightning was an all star, only thing is, I didnt run a full compliment of them, I just ran two for obvious reasons. I didnt want to put too much weight on its shoulders to muscle me games.
But other than that, I it helped me a LOT in the mirror when he wasnt running them, and the only deck I lost to was a RDW all night, coming in second.
I may be biased because it helped me get 2nd at FNM, but I dont think they are TOO weak.
Faith's Fetters says that activated abilities cannot be played unless they are mana abilities... does this mean creatures that PRODUCE mana or creatures that you pay mana to activate its abilities?
Last FNM I was playing a jank version of Jund, round 2 was a mirror, but he had the complete netdeck with some mild self touches of Jund aggro from one of the ptq's that just won a few days back, anyways... He had three creatures out, a Sygg, the flash evoke give target creature +3+3 and a boggart ram gang.
I was at 4 life and he was at 2 life, and had only a persisted finks on the field to block with. He declared his attack phase (I was tapped out on mana and had only lands in hand) and I simply said "Alpha strike...." he went on to totally ignore it and swung with the +3+3 creature and the ram-gang. I looked at him funny, waiting a moment like "wtf" and blocked one of the creatures.
I decided "ok" and top decked a lightning bolt to his face. Must have been pretty embarassing seeing as how he is generally the better player at all the FNM's and I had even TOLD him to alpha strike since I was tapped out.
Sorry if this has been asked before, and I appreciate any help given!
