I remember the first time I beat Shandalar.

The boss mana-burned himself to death by tapping all of his lands at the end of my turn and not doing anything at all.

His eternal slumber has led him to senior moments.

There is actually a horrible, horrible, powerful bug I discovered in the game way back when it came out that lets you defeat any opponent. During your opponents upkeep, but only during their upkeep, you can tap their lands for mana and it gets added to their mana pool. They mana burn and then fail to play any spells during their turn from lack of mana.

They no longer use phasing because phasing does not trigger comes into play or leaves play abilities and those cards should trigger those abilities because they say to remove it from the game and don't say anything about not triggering.

Wow Hakkon the avatar really sucks with the card. The card will never be able to recur itself, and only recur your other knights once unless they are already zombie knights like the black jump knight.

    Oooh...
Heidar, Rimewind Master - I wonder if he's snowy? I like him very much.

I seriously doubt he's a snow creature beause 4 is already a very low number for an ability that gives you very cheap repeatable bounce that can even hit their land. If he counted for it that would mean you would just have to have 3 of your 5 lands to play him be snow, or less if you have some cheap snow creatures.

And on the subject of the previous examples of this happening, oboro envoy had errata before it was even released!

Research // Developement has also already had errata according to the FAQ before it is released. This actually has happened with at least one card from each of the last four or so blocks. Like way back with Grip of Chaos in Onslaught block. Sometimes the rules managers just don't catch templating mistakes on unusual cards until after they begin printing.

will this version be availble to Mac users because I would like to start playing but I only have a mac

Use Gccg. http://gccg.sourceforge.net/ I think its so much better because I have no desire to pay for online cards plus you can use all cards ever printed except for unglued cards that don't work if you can't see your opponent and chaos orb. And it still has the enjoyment of collecting if you want that without having to pay. There aren't as many people playing it as magic online, but theres almost always someone looking to play.

Hey and if what you saying is correct, a source we can trust appears to be untrustable... Frown Unless of course Ravnica is Sigil... Is Planescape also owned by Hasbro?

Planescape is owned by Wizards along with D&D and all its other settings. They aren't publishing it right now, but they still own it and could use it all they wanted. I doubt its supposed to actually be Sigil, but they could have gotten the inspiration from there. Of course it is conceivable that they could be setting up Magic and D&D crossovers for the future but I don't think thats likely to happen.

He's thinking of some art that we saw from one of the cons before ChK came out. It was a picture of some kind of flower in black on red and was repeated in a table cloth or something like that. It hasn't been used on any of the cards and was just a random design they used for decoration.

  • posted a message on [RAV] Birds is Functional Reprint [FAKE]
Theres no way they would print a functionally identical card with a different name as birds. R&D has already said that they think having both birds and llanowar elves in the same enviornment is too much 1 mana acceleration for green. Having elves, birds, and another birds would be completely insane.

you guys gotta realize...that they probably wouldnt put glorius anthem or blinding angel on a booster pack cover, they dont seem as important as me...thats why id say its serra..shes an important part of MTG in my opinion...

This is true, but I'd say all 3 of them are more important than Rhox and he was the one that appeared in this spot in 8th edition. Rhox is a semi playable card, but not important at all.

It may only be in certain countries since in Europe and other places boosters and stuff cost a lot more so they're constantly giving them extra free stuff to attempt to make up for it and stop them from buying cheap off ebay.
