I've been playing a lot of Rabblemaster strategies lately and I really like the idea of using Thoughtseize to make sure the coast is clear. Not sure yet about the removal package. Stoke the Flames answers Stormbreath Dragon but I could see Crackling Doom or Murderous Cut fulfilling that role. Lightning Strike gives me a cheap spell to keep from being run over by opposing Rabblemasters. Mardu Charm is versatile but a little clunky. I'd like to try out Brutal Hordechief, perhaps I could shave a few Sorins or Butchers to fit in a couple.
I recently cut Kird Ape to test out Xenagos. I know aggro needs one drops to be viable but I wasn't seeing very many aggressive decks with enough Forests to justify the Ape. I seem to remember having Sarkhan Vol in the cube at one point but I don't remember how well it played. I'd like to give him another try at some point, maybe for Xenagos if he doesn't work out.
This is quite funny in a zynical way coming from a person that lives in a country where you are essentially screwed if you are unfortunate enough to have serious medical issues ...
The world extends beyond the borders of the united states. I know this is hard to imagine but you should try it when juding others and there life choices.
(and i'm not saying that its smart to go all in on mtgo)
For some reason people seem to get upset when they find out that people make a living doing something like this. I remember a lot of similar sentiments when the UIGEA shut down online poker in the US.
I have a feeling DEs are going to go the way of leagues. I'll give this a week and see what happens, then I'm selling my collection to mtgotraders (if the cards are even still worth anything at that point).
While I realize that you can create some synergy in your piles and potentially generate more CA with Steam Augury, I hesitate to cut bolt because you always get the best card unlike augury. Another note to make is that I already run all the usual split damage burn.
I'll take Electrolyze any day. Bolt is so clunky, I cut it as soon as Ral Zarek was spoiled and never looked back.
My top 4 in Dimir is Psychatog, Baleful Strix, Tezzeret AOB, and Shadowmage Infiltrator. Right now we are playing Far/Away as our 5th card but I could see giving Ashiok a chance. He/she doesn't impress me on paper, but I'm not a big fan of Far/Away and Ashiok seems to be testing well for some people.
The top 8 sealed events seem like a pretty good deal from an entry fee to prize payout perspective, but I don't think it's worth the time commitment. I liked the queues since they fired on demand and usually finished between 3-4 hours. I'll probably just end up drafting and not playing any sealed events for Theros, it will be interesting to see how other players react.
If you're trying to change the target of your opponent's Cranial Plating, then no. Equipment can only equip a creature controlled by the equipment's controller.
Waylay exiles at the beginning of the next cleanup step, Firecat exiles at the beginning of the next end step, so you can unmorph at the end of your opponent's turn and then attack for 7 on your turn.
Stormbreath Dragon 3rr
Creature — Dragon Mythic Rare
Flying, haste, protection from white
5{R}{R}: Monstrosity 3. (If this creature isn't monstrous, put three +1/+1 counters on it and it becomes monstrous.)
When Stormbreath Dragon becomes monstrous, it deals damage to each opponent equal to the number of cards in that player's hand.
First card spoiled so far that seems like an auto-include to me. Think I'll be cutting Zealous Conscripts to make room for this guy.

The Sire of Insanity would probably be GG on it's own. This card is the definition of win more.

Omenspeaker
Thassa
Lightning Strike
Stormbreath Dragon
Polukranos
Sylvan Caryatid
Xenagos
Scry Lands
These are all the cards so far that seem at least somewhat interesting to me.
