If we get an Artifact deck I'm hoping for Ashnod and Tawnos. I'd even be pretty stoked about an Urza, Artificer to go with Mishra from Time Spirals. I'd also throw Belbe into this group.
Wizard tribal would be perfect to bring in Jodah, Garth One-Eye, Ertai (when he was a contender for the throne of Rath, pre-completion), Voska, Sima and Mairsal.
I'd love a Barbarian/Beserker deck, but I can't recall too many storyline characters that haven't been made into cards yet for that. Astor, Greht, and an older Radha come to mind. Caranthir, are there any barbarians really missing?
Still holding out for a Viashino legendary or two. Especially a Viashino Bey.
I have to disagree with the Artifacts guarantees Ashnod or Tawnos. We got the Artifact deck a few bits ago which had Feldon instead. Don't get me wrong, being an Ice Age player I enjoy seeing legends from that era, but he is no Ashnod.
The border doesn't bug me, it's different but not really bad. I am not a fan of the font used for the card name and type. At the very least, they could have left out the hieroglyphics before the names. That's me though, they tried something different, good for them.
Sadly, I don't think we are getting an art book for the plane. At least, not until they do a "Return to" set and it seemed that they said all they wanted to in the fictions. Still there is always hope.
Aside from wanting a Tarkir art book in general, I'm even more disappointed they didn't do it. Your maps are outstanding and I can't wait to see Kaladesh and Tarkir. I'm especially hopeful for Tarkir because I want to run my Pathfinder players through that world.
He wasn't to bad. There have been better Magic authors such as Jeff Grubb, Scott McGough, and Avi Marmell.
Despite how some of King's takes on Magic came out though he was still leaps and bounds over Vance Moore. The only author I couldn't actually finish a book that he wrote. Thankfully WotC dropped Moore from their line up.
While at work I was on wikipedia and going over the list of Magic Characters. A sentence caught my eye.
"After that, he mysteriously "gets bored" and flees when the battle begins to turn against him. His whereabouts are currently unknown. A theory holds him as having left Ravnica entirely, indicating that he is a planeswalker. This theory is confirmed in the Xbox 360 game, so it makes him the third oldest behind Nicol Bolas and Sorin Markov." - Per Wiki.
Can anyone confirm this, as I haven't played the 360 game yet. If it is true I'm curious to see the interaction between Niv-Mizzet and Nicol Bolas. Assuming Niv-Mizzet gets a planeswalker card and a revisit to the storyline, of course.
I'm for Tezz dying. I was never a fan of him, and nothing has made me see him as anything other than annoying. Plus, if his death means another Test of Metal doesn't get made I'd be a very happy person.
