He could have made some comment about how he had to use the restroom, I'm a pretty understanding guy. And he didn't even make note of the fact he urinated and i was standing in a puddle of it for a few minutes. If someone pee'd on you, whould your first thought be "oh poor you, that must be so terrible, not being potty trained! he's a diaper and some oreo's". I think not.

Well there ya go. We would have been more understanding about the situation if you had just told us he was a diaper in the first place. I thought you were talking about a person.

Awesome. So maybe 4 Lashwrithes and a few Grave titans would be a good start? I'm debating holding on to the Obliterators or getting rid of them. I know they're fairly expensive, but if I can get a good start to a mono black, it'd be worth trading/selling.

I'm trying to build a mono black deck built around Phyrexian Obliterator since I just recently pulled two of them. My dilemma is either getting more Obliterators or trading them for some Grave Titans if possible.

I'm fairly new to Magic, so I'm going to have problems building my deck either way. Which route would you recommend? Any tips for a good deck for either of those main cards?

    Thanks in advance guys.

I ask them how much it costed them to make that deck and then they said "0.00 cause i already had all their cards.

Well by that logic, it costed me $0.00 as well to build my house $10million estimated in value house because I ALREADY HAD THE MATERIAL TO BUILD IT! NO! This is not how you add things up. What i mean is how much you spent to assemble all those cards. Then I usually have to ask a 2nd question to rephrase it. "how much is your deck worth?" Then they say ... the same thing.

I don't understand. They think it's the same question.

Why don't you just ask, in total of card value, how much their deck is worth? I can see a lot of people saying $0 for how much they spent. What if they got all their cards from boosters? Do you expect them to know exactly how many boosters they bought to get every card in that deck? Maybe it's not the people...it's the way you're phrasing your question.

What if you opened these cards first:
    Sutured Ghoul - $.50
    Goblin Chieftain - $1.25
    Cemetery Reaper - $.75
    Reverberate - $.75

Then the switch happened, and you opened
    Grave Titan - $8.50
    Garruk, Primal Hunter - $28.00
    Aegis Angel (Foil) - $2.00
    Cemetery Reaper (Foil) - $2.00
    Chandra's Phoenix - $3.50
    Rune-Scarred Demon - $1.00

I think you'd be singing a different tune.

The store made a mistake, and you just got unlucky, It would have just as easily been flipped and you could have gotten WAY more value from the pack swap. Sometimes excrement happens. If it wa sMY Store, I wouldn't have made you swap, I would have eaten the pack as a cost of my mistake, but those prize packs were never yours.

Put yourself in the other guys shoes. Because of a store screw up, what if somoene opene s a bnunch of packs you were supposed to get and opened those bombs? You'd be pretty upset.

If the reverse happened, you can bet your life that the employee would have just got 4 brand new packs instead of taking the opened junk packs. Either way, someone would be complaining. I think it's ridiculous that he had to give opened cards to someone else when the person receiving them, knew what they were. The only reason this was done is so that the employee can get better cards. I feel for you OP.

  • posted a message on If I sign up, can I still play against free trial players?
I'm thinking of signing up to play mtgo. So far I've just been playing the free trial and using the 5 premade decks. I've been playing with my friend who is also doing the same. Once I make an account, is it still possible to play the 5 premade decks against him?

Alright, thanks a lot guys. I didn't mean to make it sound like it was a big deal, I was just curious. I'm fairly new and am just looking to play on Mtgo until I can get comfortable enough to play at my local shop.

Alright before I actually sign up for MTGO, you can only redeem to get real life cards if you have the complete set collected online? So if I'm a couple of cards short, I won't be able to redeem them?

It's the same thing where it matters, and the only places it's different is where this society's conception of love (based on the Romantics) is screwed up (i.e. possessiveness and feelings of ownership of woman by man... or sometimes vice-versa, but most often woman by man).

Again, if you feel like you can't be someone's lover unless you're everything to that person, you have some self-esteem and possessiveness issues.

Just because you feel that other's can have sex with the person you love, doesn't not mean that people who don't agree with that are wrong. Just because I want to be a perfect mate for someone I care deeply for does not mean that I'm possessive or have self-esteem issues. Get off your high horse, thinking that just because you're different, your lifestyle choices are so much better than the rest of the world.

What's more mature, ending something good because you can't handle somebody else's ***** inside your wife, or staying with your love while being realistic?

Really? Sexual acts are a matter of pleasure. I don't think maturity is an issue here. If my wife is getting pleasure from someone else, than I'm not doing my job or she just needs more than I can give her. Either way if you love someone, then you want to make them happy in every way possible. If they find this happiness with someone else, then that should bother you. In this case, I'll take my western world's viewpoint.

  • posted a message on Dual Lands Revised, should I sell or wait?
Back in the day I used to get Magic cards and just look at them, but never play. I'm recently getting into Magic and wanting to play this time, I don't have a lot of money towards building a great deck to play against others.

I went through a few of my old cards and found, Underground Sea, Savannah, Scrubland, Tropical Island, all revised. I noticed that these fetch a pretty good price and I'm contemplating selling them

Should I hold onto these and hope they continue to go up in value? Are there dual lands that are going to be printed soon that will decrease the value of revised ones?

    Thanks in advance guys.
