yeah.. we should definantly do this one again, and just ban the key card of the dominant deck(s), so people have to really delve into it.

do i need to turn on the [img] code thing on? can u guys help me out on this???

you dont have anything in your signature.
    simply put:
    [si[size=2]mg[/size]]http://your.url.here[[size=2]/si[/size]mg]

    in your signature.

it'll still work, even if you have images off.

I'm becoming a regular on the Technical Support posts. Sorry, I'm dumb.

How do the deck tags work?

    Everyone has questions silly.
The dumbest question is the one not asked :p

    The Deck Tag How-To:

    The Deck Tag
Thanks to the hard workings of DarthCow, we now have a decklist similiar to that of MTG.com, etc. Here's a short primer on how to make the decklist:

The deck list is really easy, you just have to know how to format it.
    • begin with the [deck] tag, but include the deck's name.
    • [deck=RW Aggro-Control Beats]

      10
    • next, add the title of your first section.
    • [deck=RW Aggro-Control Beats]
      Weenies

      10
    • next, add in the cards of that section.
    • [deck=RW Aggro-Control Beats]
      Weenies
      4 Kami of Ancient Law
4 Samurai of the Pale Curtain
      4 Leonin Skyhunter
      4 Savannah Lions
      4 Isamaru, Hound of Konda

      10
    • next, add a double [enter] and do the next section the same:
    • [deck=RW Aggro-Control Beats]
      Weenies
      4 Kami of Ancient Law
4 Samurai of the Pale Curtain
      4 Leonin Skyhunter
      4 Savannah Lions
      4 Isamaru, Hound of Konda

      Red Weenies
      4 Hearth Kami

      10
    • do this for all the sections - but make sure that you leave the Sideboard last:
    • [deck=RW Aggro-Control Beats]
      Weenies
      4 Kami of Ancient Law
4 Samurai of the Pale Curtain
      4 Leonin Skyhunter
      4 Savannah Lions
      4 Isamaru, Hound of Konda

      [Snip for brevity]

      Sideboard
      2 Terashi's Grasp
      2 Arc-Slogger
      2 Mountain
      1 Isochron Scepter
      3 Sowing Salt
      2 Scour
      3 Story Circle

      10
    • Close the deck with [/deck]
    • And you should be done.

Which would yeild the final code:
    [[b][/b]deck=RW Aggro-Control Beats]Weenies
    4 Kami of Ancient Law
4 Samurai of the Pale Curtain
    4 Leonin Skyhunter
    4 Savannah Lions
    4 Isamaru, Hound of Konda

    Red Weenies
    4 Hearth Kami

    Spells
    2 Chrome Mox
    4 Electrostatic Bolt
    3 Isochron Scepter
    4 Magma Jet
    4 Shrapnel Blast

    Land
    4 Ancient Den
    2 Great Furnace
    2 City of Brass
    1 Eiganjo Castle
    2 Mountain
    8 Plains

    Sideboard
    2 Terashi's Grasp
    2 Arc-Slogger
    2 Mountain
    1 Isochron Scepter
    3 Sowing Salt
    2 Scour
    3 Story Circle
    [[b][/b]/deck]

    Used correctly will produce this:

Blogs are iffy at this point.
We're starting several other projects that will be more of interest to people (and will also take up most of our free time to make.)

So for now they're still on the backburner. :/

    its... public groups... Sneaky

    :p
Lemme run down groups, and the difference:

Forum permissions (ability to edit posts, see mod lounge, etc) is all based upon groups. We have a special group that if you're put in, you become a moderator. Another for global moderators, etc. Its what makes them have the power they do. However, these are private groups that only admins can see, change, add to, remove from, etc.

Public groups, however, are those that we give small permissions to and allow the users themselves to join at their own will (perhaps have 1 normal user able to accept/deny their attempting to join) etc. Its small groups that we let the people handle. As a rough example, if we were to give deck building clans their own subforums, we could give them their own public group and allow them to add or remove who they wanted. It would save us alot of work adding and removing people, as well as having them try to catch us while we're on or juggle PMs. Its fairly easy, so we could just allow one nonmod guy to do it if he wants.
