The last move I watched is Lord of War starring Nic Cage as an Ukrainian immigrant turned illicit arms merchant. I love character pieces like this and Lord of War doesn't disappoint. Nic Cage is on his A-game with this one, playing a complicated character that is part caring family man, part dispassionate monster and 100% addicted to the adrenaline rush that comes with a profession whose clients are just as likely to kill them as make them rich. It drags a little in the first act, especially the subplot involving courting the supermodel, but after it gets going, it really grips. The ending is a perfect visceral gut punch. Highly recommended.

That's unfortunate. She heals like a tank but is slow and made of paper. Oddly, I've only seen one drop ship ever. Seemed better than that.
I like Uther but I don't like how mana hungry he is. I never seem to have mana when I play him. Li Li is my back up support after BW. I fill with a perverse glee seeing Illidans whenever I'm on Li Li. Blind is so godly in this game.

Does Morales look op to anyone else? On paper, she looks like everything BW used to be, but able to relocate the whole team across the map instead of just herself. I'm gonna pick her up when she comes out. I bet she is as awesome as it looks.
Soriel, i wonder if you ever saw the art of Ladycybercat or Tailsrulz. I have a art print by tailsrulz and a signed original by cybercat. Of course i found the furry fandom way back in 1997,and it has changed a lot from then. I notice a lot of stuff that used to be tolerated in the furry fandom in the confurence days is no longer tolerated. Hopefully people like Uncle Kage will help improve the image of the fandom.

Several art aggregate websites such as FurAffinity no longer allow... underage art anymore, as an example. Not to say it doesn't exist nor to say there aren't sites that host it but the more public faces of the fandom disallow it now.
So much time is spent building up the Tomorrowland lore that none of the characters get any chance to have an arc or do much of anything except run away from robots and have action scenes. There were several avenues it could have explored, like how a place built by dreamers gets turned into a dystopia or how images of destruction only makes humans crave it more, but it went for the safe, tepid route of blowing up the machine to save the world. With optimism.
I would have liked it a lot more if every single action scene from the nerd shop to Paris was replaced with something that actually mattered to the story being told.
I would like to interject here and point out that the US is not indebted to China for $13 trillion USD. The vast majority of US debt is owed to sources within the United States. China's total holdings according to the US Government Accounting Office totals around 1.1 trillion, or 6.85% of the total debt. While not an insignificant amount, China is hardly the primary creditor of the USA and has in fact lowered its stake in US holdings as of 2012.
Even loan sharks have to look at Cost v Benefit after a while. If China did have 13 trillion of the US's debt that would be 13 trillion that they couldn't effectively use towards any other meaningful program within China with no real benefit. Calling it all in would result in either a snub, war, or the US simply printing 13T worth of bills, causing hyperinflation and making the debt worthless anyway. There is always a meaningful limit.
This is one of my go-to dinners whenever I don't really feel like putting much effort in but still want to be praised.
5 Lbs. Chicken Thighs(I really don't recommend breasts for this. The marinade draws a lot of moisture out of the chicken and breasts can and will get dried out to the point of being inedible. Use caution.)
1/2 cup Vinegar (I use apple cider vinegar but others will work.)
1/2 cup Soy Sauce (Dark soy makes the final product look better but light soy can be substituted for the salt sensitive)
4 cloves of garlic, crushed
1 tablespoon whole black pepper corns
3 Bay leaves
Place all ingredients in a large pot. Marinade for 1-3 hours.
Bring to a boil then reduce heat. Simmer for 30 minutes covered, stirring occasionally. Remove lid and continue simmering for 20 minutes or until sauce has thickened and chicken is cooked through

For dishes though, I'm not convinced putting any form of cheese or peanut butter in a cup of coffee or tea would be all that appetizing.
But I think conflating "how not to be raped" with victim blaming is way off-base.

The star child was an "Okay, whatever" moment. I liked the Reapers when they had no definable reason for what they did. I would have been happy with "they just needed to refuel every 10,000 years." Ultimately, whatever.
The extended cut is worse than the original ending in my opinion. But I'll get to that.
This is what got to me about the ending,
a. Shepard is out of his/her character for the entire star child encounter for no reason. Shepard gets to the big bad that he/she has fought and sacrificed to stop through 3 games and the big climax? "Oh you win I guess. You can destroy me by STANDING REALLY CLOSE TO THIS POWER NODE AND SHOOTING IT, control me by HOLDING ON REALLY TIGHTLY TO THESE ELECTRICAL CIRCUITS, or become one with me by JUMPING DOWN THIS REALLY BIG PIT. Those are your options cause there ain't enough space on this choice wheel. You're a winner!" And Shepard goes along with it because we as the player are trained to trust whatever the game tells us is fact. To the extended cuts credit, it added the only option that makes sense, given the scenario. "Shoot the bastard."
b. This plot, especially the extended cut, has a sunshine and rainbows ending.
General/Destroy ending: It was established in ME2 that nobody knew how these relays worked. That was kind of the point. The catalyst for galactic civilization was the reaper technology that no one understood. And then they broke when the star child blew up the Reapers. Now the entire fleets of at least 4 species are stuck in Sol or stuck in some other part of the galaxy. The home worlds of at least three major powers gets ravaged to the point of being unrecognisable. The fourth major power chickened out partly because they were out of their league and partly over the Krogans. And none of it matters because everything is fine. No consequences are even hinted at. E-zo tape fixes everything I guess. This was a perfect jumping off point for ME4 and no one had the balls to do it. I think the fan base is partly to blame for this too.
Control: Again, jumping off point for ME4 if its canon, but again the narrator makes sure we understand that everyone in the galaxy is cool with Shepard controlling the force that nearly wiped them all out. Mmhmm.
Synthesis: I got nothing. This is the paragon ending?
Again, maybe I expected too much. Maybe I should have just expected another we beat the bad guy and the heroes triumph story. But when you start wrecking civilization on a galactic scale, maybe show that winning had some consequences yeah?
And this is entirely applicable to our modern superhero movies. Yes, there's drama in them. But we're not watching Iron Man for the same reason we watch Hamlet. We're watching Iron Man to watch Tony Stark kick ass and take names.
I respectfully disagree. The hallmark of a good superhero movie is the human element, not the action. Mindless ass kicking has no stakes and is rather boring to sit through. The Iron Man movies are excellent not because of the over blown action and terrible villains but because they did an amazing job making Tony Stark human and a hero we can get invested in. He's flawed and has personal challenges to overcome. Same with Batman. Same with Spiderman. They all are compelling because they have to master themselves first in order to kick ass.\
