No, as sacrificing the creature is part of the cost of casting for the emerge cost. By the time the opponent could respond the creature is no longer there.
Worldbreaker, Ulamog, and even Thought Knot were very nice additions from the BFZ block, but the loss of Eye still has a huge impact on our long-game. I personally prefer Sanctum as the card that attempts to fill the Eye slot, but the fact that there isn't a general consensus on which card is best says a bit on the gaping hole Eye left in our long-term game.
All that being said, yes, the deck is still certainly viable, and has recent results at Grand Prix to back that up.
Be aware that they can/do use alternate win conditions as well. I lost in the league to an Ad Nauseum deck after landing a pithing needle. He drew his deck, cast Laboratory Maniac, then drew a card.
Personally, I would play a full playset of map instead of sylvan scrying. Map gets under turn 2 counters and doesn't require colored mana.
Otherwise, the list looks pretty solid. It has the traditional Gr core, and since the Eye ban, lots of people have been experimenting with different flex cards.
With StarcityGames States coming up next weekend I'd like to share my decklist to get some discussion going about the current state of Tron. First, I'd like to say that I've tried the Mono Green Eldrazi Tron on MTGO. Its a good deck, and I think most its Midrange/Control/Combo matchups are better than the stock Tron build, but I think its worst matchups are even worse. I expect a fair amount of Burn and Infect in my state, so I'm bringing this list:
Jaddi Offshoot has been my SB tech vs Burn/Aggro. It comes down turn 1 and pings lifegain instead of getting it all in one shot and leaving yourself open to a Skullcrack effect. Worst case scenario, they bolt it or you chump block a 3 power+ creature and you effectively gained 3 life. Best case, it gains you you a life each turn, and keeps a 2 power creature at bay every turn, "gaining" you anywhere from 5-10 life as long as the game goes on. Also great in multiples!
I've been testing Sanctum of Ugin on MTGO for the (likely) ban of Eye. Its not awful, but you already need to have a 7+ drop in hand and cast it to get the trigger off of it. It does give you that inevitability of finding Emrakul if you want it though.
Still, I'm not sure its something I'll ultimately end up using.
For the faults that Puca has, it really is a nice way to trade into cards and decks.
I've been on Puca for almost a year now, and have turned various Modern/Multi-Player staples I've had into a half dozen Modern decks (Including Tron and Burn from scratch) as well as another half dozen or so budgetish multiplayer decks.
That being said, I do think long-term that inflation on the site is a real thing, given how freely the mods give out points. I've been keeping my Pucapoints low (Under 1,000) unless there are specific cards I'm trying to get for a deck.
All that being said, yes, the deck is still certainly viable, and has recent results at Grand Prix to back that up.
Natural Order
Invigorate
Sneak Attack
Tendrils of Agony
Toxic Deluge
WILL NOT be reprinted:
Scalding Tarn
Snapcaser Mage
Thoughtseize
Ponder
Abrupt Decay

4 Urza's Power Plant
4 Urza's Tower
3 Grove of the Burnwillows
2 Forest
2 Sanctum of Ugin
1 Ghost Quarter
4 Ancient Stirrings
4 Chromatic Star
4 Chromatic Sphere
4 Sylvan Scrying
4 Pyroclasm
2 Oblivion Stone
3 World Breaker
4 Karn Liberated
2 Ugin, the Spirit Dragon
2 Ulamog, the Ceaseless Hunger
Not a ton of surprises here. The Oblivion Stone count is lower than normal in favor of World Breaker. I may go back to a 3/2 split for Sunday.
And this is my sideboard
2 Spellskite
3 Nature's Claim
3 Relic of Progenitus
1 Cavern of Souls
3 Jaddi Offshoot
1 Emrakul, the Aeons Torn
