    NOBODY EXPECTS THE AVACYNIAN INQUISITION

    If she does have white,
Maybe she'll be naya colours, it's not out of the realm of possibility?
Or G/W flipping into G/R, sorta like how Garruk grew a new colour.

Panicked masses? Check. Deafening cries of terror? Check. Eardrums? I hope they're still there. She thought as she waded against the flow of people escaping the fires.

After the fifth arm in her face, she'd gotten tired of being buffeted by limbs and thus found a decently elevated platform in which she could hopefully quell the panic.

"Calm down people, there are refugee areas with refreshment and aid being set farther from the affected site. Your safety is assured as long as you move in an orderly fashion and try not to trample one another. And for the love of the Gods, stop screaming!"

Stepping down from the makeshift soapbox, Jess sipped from a waterskin she had on her, public speaking while using gentle suggestion magics was slightly tiring to say the least.

Standing and watching the hopefully slowing crowd, she picked out a random person that seemed to be more shaken than others, "Hey, you! What's happening over there?" she asked, gesturing towards the epicenter of the problem.

Signing up for The Kings of Oza

    Name: Jessamyne Trias
    Race: Human
    Class: Citizen Spellshaper
Color: U (splashing white/green for future developments)
    Zone: Hand

Background: Armed with wit, cunning, and the sharpest of tongues, Jessamyne Trias. (although known more often as Jess to both friends and critics alike) is one of the lead reporters for Sunalia's local newspress, The Oculus. She's a master with both words and minds, sowing talk, suspicion, but most of all, the truth among the folk of her fair city. Even at a young age, upstart mindmage Jess was highly curious and had a knack for getting either into other people's business, or gaining information. After one too many close calls with nearly being arrested for loitering, harassment, as well as breaking and entering, she decided she needed an occupation that would better let her snoop into the business of others. Fortunately for her, the local paper had a job opening for mail sorter, and, after a few years of hard work, big breaks, a few arrests, and so on, she found herself where she is now. Secretly trying to find out real information on the five kings of the nations, she always has her eye, pen, and paper out for the next big thing.

Appearance: Still a bit early into her slightly newfound adulthood, Jess has the look of someone looking for both answers and trouble. Her skin is sun-kissed and is rather even across her whole body. On her head, her bangs are parted, and raven hair ponytailed a bit high. She has sharp eyes framed behind a small pair of glasses that don't seem to fall off. On her person, she dons azure robes with tassels at the waist and near the wrists, underneath that is formfitting leather clothes for actual traversing through the city as well as the odd scrape.

Personality: A quick thinker and an even quicker talker, Jess is an inquisitive soul. She's fairly straightforward when she needs to be, although when she isn't pressing people for answers, her answers are vague and her sass may or may not be higher. She's a seeker of truths and information, especially the saucy ones, and she feels empowered in discussions when she knows more or at least has an upper hand in dirt. Often times however, she'll forgo personal safety in order to get what she wants. Prying into the minds of others telepathically is more of a habit than anything else really.

...well, first of all, she is "The Foremost" which means in most Abzan lineups, she'll be leading the charge and starting her side of the war(even though your 1 drop probably attacked first...), making sense Vorthos wise and giving reason to her low costs and agression.

the second ability is more of to support her clan's lategame by bumping down other lategame setups such as ones that have yard reliance.

  • posted a message on Spellwild Ouphe, where everything's pretty cheap
Going over what Commander to play for PDH, given whatever resources I had, I thought back to an old-ish card that caught my eye time and time again, although never had much of a place for anywhere but here, which I then realised.

    Enter Spellwild Ouphe

The deck commonly enters into the stage of:
-Hit the opponent until 16 commander damage is dealt.

The general issue is that spells to kill him are also cheaper, which is why you must arm yourself to protect the Ouphe, who turns your buffs usually into G to cast spells.

It's still under construction, although creative input/criticism, recommendations would be most welcome.

Spellwild Ouphe's greatest strength is also his greatest weakness, what with pacify and it's ilk being a path to exile to cast, so be prepared to defend this little bugger.

Art out of the way, Leech sliver turns a horde attack into a nightmare, especially since it bypasses fog effects. And it becomes worse with each leech sliver added. Brilliant design, bg slivers looking vaguely strong, although we should wait for the other 3 before deciding in the hive's direction.

Shandalar Slivers considered, the consistent complaints about how it's ruining magic are becoming even more irksome. I mean, they could even paint over the art if they wanted to, draw a dominarian sliver and make themselves content. Don't dwell on past genocide, pave a way for future generations.

But who am I to control the opinions of another.

As one of many Sliver players, I slowly learned to accept the Shandalar Slivers. As it sort of made sense in the mana infused Shandalar that the Slivers would be more akin to being both the end, and start of evolution.

The start of evolution is single celled organisms. There is no end.

Also, m14 slivers are not real slivers.

They're Slivers on another plane. You can mirror the distinctions between Shandalar and Dominarian Slivers with that of the swarm and feral zerg back in sc2, but that's just an alliteration.

There is no backing that Slivers live in a single united hivemind in Shandalar, just as much as there is no support for them having separate hives, which cause them to retain abilities only for their kin. They're real slivers, with a different path of adaptation. Just as goblins are little green men in one land and rat people in another.

The sliver's base attributes are claws and tendrils to shape and adapt. Mutation's meant to be surprising.

On the topic of Constricting Sliver, only time can really tell if the following 5 cycle will accent slivers.
While the 6 drop space should go to Megantic sliver, even though you obviously won't throw it out at turn 6, placing it a turn later won't slow down your tempo as much as reduce the slowage from your foes.

"....." Lamia frowned, taking a seat on a nearby bench as she pondered her options.

"I could go straight for the Necromancer, but who is to say that Gisela and the others haven't reached him already... Unless all they're doing is making him hide, which could mean that he won't be active any time soon. Or I could do the arena battles then go back..."

Her competitiveness getting the better of her, she flew to the arena.

OOC: I assume my +1 requires a foe. Although, if I use it to incapacitate someone, I don't get exp right? Unless... I do it on an inanimate object!

Lamia directs her current frustrations at a nearby boulder, tipping it on its side and hurting the lifeless stone somewhere deep inside. [+1]

Hero of Iroas' reduction works on Aura spells, allowing bestows to be cheaper as they count towards being an aura spell.

Thus Ragemonger's ability works on any Minotaur, counting Minotaur auras.

    PERSONALITY: Disciplined, Emotional, Hard Headed

BACKSTORY: Hailing from Innistrad, Lamina knew even before of Avacyn's imprisonment and fought with all that she had until overwhelmed by demons, at which her spark awakened and she was thrust onto the plane of Ravnica. She aligned herself with the Boros, convinced that this was a sign that she was not ready to protect Innistrad due to her inadequacy as one of Avacyn's angels. After a time, once the first Guildpact had been decimated along with much of the Boros weaponry, Lamina took this as a sign to return to her own plane, only to find it still overrun. She fought amongst her kin up until the day Avacyn escaped her tomb, joining her sisters in the cleansing of the land. She travelled to Margis to better herself in the ways of combat, and, although she had completed her work, she stays over at Margis to monitor its inhabitants and provide defense for its growing mages from threats that may come and go.
