Holy crap I played with a guy who had lag so bad I couldn't cast an instant after blockers were declared which caused me to lose the game. Be careful when connecting with people. If you get the waiting rotating icon for at least 20 seconds in the beginning of your match you're in for a horrible ride.

You're talking about Elite Vanguard. Yea still a great card as well imo especially for soldier/token decks. If I draw Tormented Hero and Ajani's Pridemate I'll always keep my hand even with only two lands on start. Tormented Hero with a turn two Ajani's Pridemate are best friends.

There's nothing wrong with unknown sellers. You have to do your own research on any card before purchasing. I only have 82 feedback with 100% positive feedback. Technically I'm an unknown seller. Does this mean I'm not deserving of selling MTG cards without a fancy banner and a rainbow of colors to attract buyers?

You should really check out Magic online or duels of the planeswalkers online. You can go from your one opponent you play with two hundreds as soon as you build a deck. Like you I still have cards going back to Mirage, revised, and even few alpha cards laying around. I've been actively selling all my cards.I tried to form a legacy goblin deck as well with a mix of modern, extended cards and it never had any real gas without spending hundreds first. I recently built a new PC with 16 gigs of ram and asked myself "why am I going to fill up chests in my game room with cards again and started playing online. Now I list a couple hundred dollars worth of cards a week on ebay and never look back. I can wear whatever I want sitting at my PC with my large ice coffee taking as long as I want in between matches. No smelling kids that don't shower, adults that have horrible social skills or try to avoid being social at all. It's great.

Getting back to the original question OP had asked "how has it changed or what did you realize was more important after your leave of MTG". CARD DRAW. When I left blue was the card draw king. Now every color has the ability to card draw in some fashion.

What's the most powerful turn one card you use in your opinion from this card pool? It can be a gate, artifact, creature, spell, doesn't matter.

I'm all for other companies having the potential to make MTGO worth playable and to share the market with other companies. Maybe even making MTG in different formats more affordable to play. TO collectors and sellers of the cards of course they hate this idea.

I look at it this way. I'm a big fighting game fan. Almost all 2d fighters have the same setup, mechanics, and even characters that remind you of Ryu even though you're not playing street fighter. Can you copyright shoryuken dragon punch? Wouldn't that be a shame if you could never left/right, down, diagonal in another fighting game because Capcom copyrighted it?

I save removal for packleader whenever playing green big creature decks. That card alone has caused me losses. I'll use removal on that card faster than a 6/6'ish flyer because the constant card draw makes those decks so deadly.

Yea for having DOTP 2014 you get a free premium booster pack on cmpletion of your first campaign mission if I remember correctly. I got mine with no issues.

I completed the campaign mode last night with my white/black deck last night. I use white for Auras and removal while black focuses on cards with heroic abilities. Now comes the grind for guildgates and such to form other decks.

Everyone hates this game lol. I had a chance to get to the last quest of the stupid tutorial I wish I could skip last night. I don't know I may play DOTP until I need more and sacrafice my computer to MTGO. I don't know if my 3.3ghz 16 gigs of ram can run it though lol.

With probable expansions and a premium card pool I'll still play this any day before MTGO. I don't have 16 gigs of performance ram to have my comp run like a 486-no thank you. Give me MTGO with DOTP interface and I'll play MTGO.

I wouldn't say DOTP is for starting people in magic. I'm 33 and still have cards back to revised and I refuse to play MTGO. Looks like some high school programming team built that f'n game.

I agree. I have around close to 1500 hours into team fortress 2. I've spent more on that game than any other because I play it so much. I agree it might be a money sink but which part of MTG isn't?

I'm still very excited for this game. I would pay any day to play magic on this interface than the bull***** interface of magic:online.

1.99 for a premium booster pack means more deck building options and I don't have to sit at Friday Night Magic comic stores.

That's pretty steep for ten cards that will be obsolete when Magic 2016 releases

The core set always changes and some cards stay the same. It's been this way for 16 years. I can pay 1.99 for a digital booster that keeps them all in perfect condition and doesn't take up space in my closet compared to driving somewhere and paying 3.50 a pack, then sleeving them, then smelling people that don't shower, then having to take off of work Friday night. Yea I'll gladly pay the 1.99. Grant I'm 33 and make decent money; I don't expect everyone to make the same income I do. I see people spend much more on real cards in one FNM than most will probably spend on DOTP 2015.

Yea I agree mostly. I thinkthe 2015 interface and 4 player games look more fun. I've never had a problem with cards breaking the rules so far as a previous poster said. For 10 dollars I get a lot of enjoyment out of it.
