The stack resolves in LIFO (last in, first out) order. Finks' trigger is put on the stack first, therefore it will resolve last.

oh durp, I had it flipped in my head for some reason. Like first = top of the stack. hurp durp

Edit: Also, if you dont eat anything, hellion will kill itself right?

Yes. Finks' and Hellion's triggers reach the stack at the same time, so order them as you please. (Protip: put persist on the stack first Teach )
    EDIT:

In soviet Russia, rules question you!

Ok, you lost me. So, you eat the finks, and hellion hits play. You chose to put persist on the stack first, and hellions ability second. Finks comes back, and the hellion activates, which would kill the just resurrected finks right?

There is a sticky in this forum that kind of addresses this. It's titled "are there any players in _____" or something that.

I'm in college now but I still visit my high school every week to play. It's just a nicer atmosphere, no one saying IM SO PRO or YOU TAPPED THAT ****ING LAND YOU CANT JUST UNTAP IT JUST BECAUSE IT WAS AN ACCIDENT or **** like that.

High school mtg > FNM drafting for me lol

That sucks. My FNM place is really friendly. Like, im rather new, and so I blocked a chameleon colossus with my sprouting thrinax w/o realizing it had prot. from black. He didnt notice it till the next turn and said "oh man, was thrinax black? you can't block with that. Oh well, no big deal. Just remember he is prot from black." Everyone is nice, even the really good players.

Please notice that several posters have brought up the issue already:

So it would be pretty much useless to provide additional info, since it won't really help any of us crack open specific rares on a cost-effective basis.

I saw those earlier posts, but the guy who made the book said that maybe if enough info gets out on the set someone might figure out a pattern. I was just seeing if anyone here wanted more info despite the "type B" issue. Anyway, I got antsy in my pantsy so I opened it already anyway.

It would be funny if someone in the product line where the packs are being distributed into the boxes would just mix up two or three boosters per case. It would totally demolish this whole book and the whole point of trying to figure out rare print runs which, to me, is actually quite dumb and seems like cheating.

Not really, if only one person did it, there would still be a ton (and I mean A TON) of boosters left untouched. Wizards probably couldnt do this if they wanted to because of the shear amount that gets shipped all the time.

While buying a box a conflux may sound like a better idea than Shards, you just need to know what you are actually looking for. If you are trying to grow a collection going with a bigger set would be better. While the rares may not be duplicated you will be able to gain playsets of most if not all commons/uncommons. But if you're looking to gain certain rares, small sets are probably what you want, but you will also waste a bunch of uncommons/commons as duplicates which could be good or bad. (PtE against Uncontrolled Instincts)
(I don't think this is true for conflux, you can pick up playsets of almost anything (rares) you want for under $20)

Hope all this makes sense, wrote it as I was going to bed. ZZZzzzzzzzzz

    Ya that makes sense.

I would not buy a booster box of Conflux. It is a small set of only 145 cards, so you'll get many duplicate commons and uncommons you probably don't need. This also means you have a higher chance of getting a large variety of rares, though.

From what I have seen, shards has some pretty bad cards, while Conflux has a pool of better cards though. Hmm...

    Pdf File Where?!

Read the initial post/watch the video. There is no .pdf, not unless you're paying. Spam warning issued for not adding anything constructive.

chill bro, I know what all this is about, I was asking for an illigal link to the pdf file.

Oh, really, well, we have rules against illegal activity. Also, if you want to comment on a ruling a moderator has made, please do so on their Helpdesk - doing so in a thread like this is spam.
