I've been testing this deck and I really like how this version has been working. The sideboard can be adjusted to fit whatever metagame you expect. I actually included the Crackdown Construct and Wandering Fumarole combo because it only required one card. The fact I run Nahiri, the Harbinger means we can surprise someone when she hits 8 loyalty for the "Oops, I win" combo when they aren't expecting it. Or she can fetch the Felidar Guardian for the combo, leaving your lands untapped to protect both pieces. Try it out and let me know what you guys think.
I've been testing this deck and I really like how this version has been working. I've found aggro decks to be the biggest challenge. The sideboard can be adjusted to fit whatever metagame you expect. I have a Seeker of the Way and cast a spell to trigger prowess. My opponent blocks it with his Brutal Hordechief and uses Gods Willing to give it protection from white. If I target my opponent with Wild Slash, triggering prowess on my Seeker, will the Ferocious part of Wild Slash trigger? Just wondering when ferocious is checked - on announcement or resolution?
I put this together and have been enjoying it. It's a twist on the Jeskai tempo deck that is everywhere. I've found that Ensoul Artifact on Darksteel Citadel is tough for any deck to deal with. There is so much targeted removal that an indestructible 5/5 can survive. Let me know what you think.
What happens if my Clever Impersonator that is copying an Ashcloud Phoenix is killed? I assume it returns face down, but will it still be a Phoenix and I can activate it's ability, or does it stay a morph creature?
I just want to make sure I am correct in the following situation. I use the ability ofLegion's Initiative to exile my Goblin Rabblemaster during my first main phase. When I enter combat, my Initiative retuns my Rabblemaster. Since Rabblemaster's ability triggers at the beginning of combat, his ability will not trigger since he was not on the battlefield when his trigger was to go on the stack. Is this correct or will it still trigger?
I cast Goblin Rabblemaster and it resolves. I move to my combat step and put the Goblin Rabblemaster trigger on the stack. My opponent says to wait, and go back to my main phase and points a Lightning Bolt at my Rabblemaster. My question is, can he do this? Is there a point after my creature resolves before combat with an empty stack that he can make me go back from me entering combat? Or does my Rabblemaster trigger get to go on the stack?
Just to make sure, I can cast this before blockers, tapping my guys to kill an opponent's creature? And they will still be considered attacking and therefore be able to deal combat damage?
Wanted to share my current Jund Aggro list. This deck has been performing really well. I grabbed some ideas from the mono-green stompy deck and merged it with B/R aggro. This deck is really fast and packs a punch!
Let me know what you think. It's been a blast to play and surprisingly consistent. I've won a couple of matches with only 2 lands in play. The sideboard is still a work in progress. Magma Spray is mainly for the B/W decks running Athreos, God of Passage.
I've found this deck has a better matchup against monoblue because of the Mistcutters, Last Breath and Charm that help deal with Master of Waves. Mono Black is usually about getting Pack Rat online first. I may revise my sideboard to help the R/G matchup.
