well the other demons are the alternate win conditions, and the ghast further helps accelerate into them. all the creatures fully benefit from heartless by having 2 generic in their costs. specter with a madcap gets their removal.
maybe rakdos return as a mana sink/additional burn spell? i do like nighthawks but maybe i go up to four in the side for aggro decks. its not the best main with heartless.
i started with dreadbores main, but switched to sign in bloods since i needed some dig. and can deal the final points if needed. searing spears main is a good idea. added those in.
Last night on Travis Woo's stream he was talking about putting Leylines main deck. Did anyone see this and can they say more about it? I had to leave and couldn't stick around for it...
i asked him about it on twitter, he said he likes it over land destruction since it hits so many decks.
i personally dont think its that great. i like ld better in the jund matchup
Let's not forget Wispmare is a card, if we want to try to find a way to play her. Wouldn't take more than the use of Forbidden Orchard and a single Shockland that bleeds into white to include it.
not a bad idea. i'm leaning toward a krosan grip in the side since it's easier to cast. the main enchantments we're worried about are rest in peace, leyline of the void, splinter twin, and blood moon. don't want to include a basic plains so i think grip is better in the blood moon case. and can also bring it in against robots
My question for you, is how do we beat infect? This deck is everywhere on MTGO, and I can't seem to beat it. Its almost possible on the draw, but still very hard. On the play, it's near impossible. Sure, a Shriekmaw or a Dismember can do it, but they have Vines of Vastwood. I really don't see how we win this match up
add a single Melira, Sylvok Outcast in your board, and side out the living ends. then you can cascade into it and shut down their deck. that should buy enough time to hardcast our big dudes.
i think the 1 sideboard slot is worth it when it totally wrecks a deck that is becoming more popular
Alright so I have been playing living end for quite some time now trying to get ready for the grand prix here in chicago and I have been having some problem for quite some time now. REMAND and SPELL PIERCE. How do you get around those two cards as living end. It seems almost impossible.
yea i got very unlucky in my matchups and only played against a non-green deck once. (beat delver) and only one of those green decks didnt have melira. (i won that match as well)
i was pretty happy with the deck other than the melira issue. i did have to mull a lot and would probably go with two more lands since i was only playing 21. i would take out the carrion call as those were too slow.
the highlight was when i played against a gu infect dect. we played 3 games and each was over on turn 3. luckily i won the die roll.
i also lost to alex binek playing bant pod, he's on the world cup team, so i dont feel too bad.
i may take a slightly updated list to a ptq this weekend.
prey upon might be good in the sideboard, bring it in against heavy creature decks. use it precombat with defiance to make your guy big and get their blocker out of the way.
i'll try out devour flesh. also added hood and torch in the board as more unblockables that stick around against the right decks
madcap skills is to make him hard to block. as is glaring spotlight and rogue's passage.
chandra, the firebrand might be worth testing. can +1 for the final point, or copy my removal spells..

ricochet trap
i think slaughter games is too slow for twin decks, so im debating putting in rakdos charm and siding out living end vs them. anyone tried that?

went 4-4 with the list i posted earlier. i would def put melira in the side board to legend rule it, and probably dismembers too.
