what cowards. they just keep bending to the will of advertisers.

Unfortunately, this is the internet, where google and advertisements have infinite tools to flow information and be kept secret.

What a pain these malicious attacks are.

Also, for another argument against cronyism: If moderation on this site was a popularity contest, I'd probably never have been modded. The majority of the staff didn't know who I was at the time, and of those who did, opinions were mixed. I was actually a bit surprised to get in, considering I honestly thought the deck was stacked pretty hard against me.

To be fair lots of the staff are kept on because of popularity, or taken off because of unpopularity. While its not a requirement to become a mod by popular vote, being able to stay on staff with people thinking positively about you is because of popularity.

When people say you are a bad mod Teia it creates issues for regular poster of the forum you moderate and CI as a whole. Basically mods should be liked enough where people aren't in groups hating you.

I feel a tad uninformed to vote, but I just want to give a shoutout to Pinky'sBrain and the entire playerbase of Smalltown Animaniacs.

Every player who signed up for the game finished the game. There were zero replacements. I don't know how often this occurs (or if it has occurred this year in another game), but I thought it was an awesome thing to be part of.

It was a new fun setup that's why it worked I think...

And thank you Iso for the vote. I'll probably compile a list and post here one day...

This was reported long before, but no action was taken. Now finally google picked it up. It is sad that only after a google hit things seem to be done.

How is it possible that Malware is left unchecked for 4 whole months?

If the owner doesn't care to cater about this site anymore, why doesn't he delegate the task on someone who is actually around?

Well, I guess since this seems to be something that shouldn't have been brought up, and was only a way to get more people to become "involved" with another community, I supose I should post the URL to the "new MtG" community that pink et al. have set up, since they want to play it as "private information only".

    http://community.ist.utl.pt/

There. Since we want to be *******s at this point, I figure I can even the playing field.

Its not a secret and anyone is allowed in.

    An interesting leak over IM:

    (01:46:27) LeakyFaucet63: Hello
(01:46:27) CM <AUTO-REPLY>: I'm not here right now
    (01:46:53) LeakyFaucet63: Are you there?
    (01:55:21) LeakyFaucet63: I guess not
(01:55:30) LeakyFaucet63: Just wanted to give you guys a heads up: Someone at a higher level (global or admin) is contacting administrators of other forums, asking for information on certain members and ex-members of MTGS, in an effort to find the origin(s) of the leaks. This is not being done with the knowledge of regular mods (as far as I know) and, as far as I'm concerned, I find it outright disgusting.
(01:58:21) LeakyFaucet63: Please make well with this info

I would also like to add that MandersHex's information (Her email used as registration, IP address) was requested from another website and the other websites owner was told it was for "official Sally business" and therefore couldn't be told what they needed it for. The owner of said website has confirmed this is all true.

I'm appalled and disgusted at what the current staff of this site are doing, what is the explanation of all this?

I'm honestly sorry about all this, I didn't mean to create an un-fun game or anything like that. I'm happy that out of this there are discussions of a better system with reviewing.
