  • posted a message on packs or singles?

    I rather packs

today i opened 4 morningtide boosters

I got a Foil bitterblossom and Foil Mutavault

    You lucky lucky man.

Packs are also good if you want to help new people to play or intend on introducing people

    Good exmaple

My girlfriend complained that i was spending more on magic than her so i introduced her to the game by opening packs and introducing her to mechanics then doing the whole how you play a deck thing

    3 weeks in

She can beat my mill deck with her Burn deck full of rares and foils

You lucky man for getting your girlfreind into magic.
Anyway I always "volunteer" at gaming events and after a whole day of work they "pay" me with 6 boxes of the latest set.

I agree with you 1,000%. I buy all the singles that I want from each new set when it comes out. By the next set I usually have a fat pack sized box full of cards that I got from booster packs. I can't help it. I just like opening booster packs way too much to stop.

Thats also my problem, I just have soooo much fun opening boosters.
    I prefer boosters.

    wouldn't loxodon warhammer be better?

No, because you can search for a char, Lightning helix or a Rally the Righteous.
Also you can search for a ghostway play it then ***.

The above list doesn't look very aggro, aggro in general means fast and quick creatures (in general) while that appears to be based around fatties. Do you want a Naya Fattie deck?

    I didn't mean "Turn 4 pwnage Aggro" i meant a bit of a speedy/aggro NAYA deck.
Id try taking out the sunseed nurturer and adding 2 devoted druids, for the ramp. Try taking out the Exhuberant Firestrokers and add 2 Sacellum Godspeakers. Like the sound of it?

Thats what i meant. it sounds great, Thanks

You are playing Green.... artifacts are not an issue.

Im aware of that but it still slows you down.
Im running Ingot Chewer, it gets rid of artifacts and +5+5 to manaplasm for R.

Ive built a Manapalsm deck for a FNM and it came 1st.
the only problem the deck faced were cards like pithing needle.
Ill put the decklist up soon.

  • posted a message on Best Card *Art* - On break until Scars (SEE RULES FIRST POST)
This is a random post, but I wholeheartedly believe this thread is not legitamate. Arguably, I believe that Heartbeat of Spring has the best art of ALL magic cards. When people ask why I like magic cards so much, i answer that it's fun, very strategic, and best of all, it has the best art of anything. Then I show them Heartbeat and even that wows them.

    And do you know why?
Because its a Rob Alexander card.
He's the best Magic artist, EVER!
