has anyone considered the synergy between Umbral Mantle and Elvish Archdruid? I run at least 2 in my build now. Although it isn't likely, turn 3 wins are pretty insane.
I would not try to make Colorado seem like a bunch of bad players. I use to live up there, and in northern Colorado especially, there are A LOT of good players like Conley Woods and Paul Cheon.
The event sounds really fun though. I might be back up there for a visit and participate.
Played this at regionals today and was undefeated through the swiss. Unfortunatley one guy that could have drew in decided to play his games, lost to me, then lost again and let a turbo fog slip through into 8th with me having a 7-0-1 record, so you can see what happened there :(.
Red and black getting more anti-white support. White always gets forge-tenders, celestial purge, and other really good hate against red and black. Red/Black lost all its hate in time spiral and only has the pro white bear left. So to sum it up what i am really daydreaming about is a creature that has a toughness of 3 or greater, pro white, and some sort of finishing power.
Similar to crypt angel. I loved that card.
I think the hardest parts of this deck to replace are the angels and the spitters. Angel had evasion, pro white, and tricks with kavus and burned skizziks. Spitter could keep constant damage every turn and keep back the little guys all ona small body. Oh what I would give to have the spitter reprinted. Would be a fricken house with all the tokens running around.
I have been wondering about this topic for a while. I was thinking that maybe Wizards was employing a new marketing technique with their spoiler seasons. They say they have been trying to get more people to play the game this year, or to come back to the game. What better way than to try and infiltrate the rumor mills and get everyone talking.
I also think that perhaps the Conflux card list being spoiled was maybe intentional. Wizards didn't even seem to be all that shocked or disappointed about it. Everyone went berserk when they saw Nicol Bolas on that list and soon everyone was talking about this set like no other set before.
Also we have all these puzzles coming in for new card spoilers. Most people would just spoil all the cards outright and probably wouldn't take the time to create these puzzles and such. It just seems way to organized. How would these people even get a hold of this info for multiple sets, be well known for spoiling correctly, and still not be "caught" or "disciplined".
I definitely think it's someone who works at wizards or with wizards to try and boost eagerness and sales.
I'm trying to contemplate Just how good this card is, and if its better than unmake for my current white deck. I like the ability to get rid of dudes for cheaper and the interaction with knight of the white orchid, but I think I might want unmake for other aggro decks.
I don't want to see my opponent get an earlier cloud goat, or just happen to be one land off of demigod and me help him get there. But I do really like this card better for toast/revielark.
