I've been a player for since lorwyn, and i've been really getting dissapointed after morningtide with shadowmoor/eventide. Alara was at least better than that, but it still was eh, with conflux i guess it gets a little better
the only reason i would think to do that is for a draft, but if you were to buy to of those packs you could still get more cards with probably better rarities for the same price.

Honestly, my luck has varied. I have to agree that if you dont want copies tournaments packs are good. In shadowmoor, i remember getting all crap in a tourney pack and then getting three lieges (wiltleaf, ashenmoor, and boartusk) in packs. In Alara the last 3 packs had2 flameblasts and a crucible while the tourney had a Ajani, Elspeth, And the hegemon

Listen, guys, there are two ideas i have for the mystery picture and it isnt a creature
1. Ob ring; yea, i know it will be redundant, but at the same time, theres no doubt it'l be there.
2. Dread return; hey... why not? It sure has a similiar characteristics. In both the creature seems to be reteriating (notice the chest) and in both their are witnesses (notice the guy in dread return and the angel thingy in the picture.)
As said before, the JvC pic wasnt a creature
