Awesome, I was pretty sure, but it would suck to go to SCG Buffalo and find out otherwise without ever having taken the time to isolate and address that consideration. I appreciate it! Thanks so much for your quick response!
Preferably i would like the soulbond rule that says yay or nay one way or the other. I use MTG familiar, and it's awesome, and it has all the rules in it, but I wasn't able to determine one way or tghe other on this issue with it.
Thanks. So how does the infinite life combo with 0 equip cost Shuko work. Equipment can be re-equipped infinitely to a creature that the equipment is already equipped too? Or was someone cheating/lying for the win?
Please confirm or deny, thanks.
Relevant playstate: Spellskite has a Livewire lash equipped, it's my turn, combat phase has been declared. It is before declare attackers, I have priority.
I play Apostle's blessing targeting another creature I own. I have 3 U open. I pay UUU and use spellskite's ability 3 times. Ability resolves for +2/+0 and deals 2 to a legal target, ability resolves for +2/+0 and deals 2 to a legal target, ability resolves for +2/+0 and deals 2 to a legal target, redirected spell resolves. Serve for 6 protection from whatever was chosen initially.
I need someone to explain to me how <card>Torpor Orb</card> works. It seems worded so badly. For example, does it negate cip abilities of creatures coming into play? Does it negate creatures abilities that trigger when other creatures come into play? Or both?
Thanks a lot.
Is m10 rotating when m11 hits this summer or will the 2 coexist until m12?
With half the cards being reprints and half being new i can't understand investing 50$ a piece in Bankslayer Angels when they are only legal for half the time of the Expansion set cards.
Quick question asked in a "Is this correct?" format. Devout lightcaster is a white source targetting something. Lightwielder Paladin puts an ability on the stack that allows me to target a black or red permanent. Lightwielder's ability gets around protection from white since it makes me the source that is targetting, whereas lightcaster's ability does not since it is the source that is targetting. Correct?
In reference to the title; Declare blockers step: Gargoyle castle
Do I have to make the token at the end of the declare attackers step and allow my opponent priority again before declare bloackers step or can i make the token during declare blockers and block before he gets priority to say... terminate it? 509.2a states abilities can be played during declare blockers step well before 509.5 states that the active player gets priority.
I am thinking that there is actually no priority between 509.1 and 509.5 in the comp rules so I would indeed have to play it in the declare attackers step and my opponent would be able to terminate the token upon regaining priority after it enters play before the step ends.
Same reason I like drafting blue and white in a set full of green and red OP fatties. People get pissy when you take out their creatures with your combat tricks and "inferior" creatures and it makes them go on tilt. Once that happens, they become a self fulfilling prophecy and do everything as if you are controlling them. Walk into my Harms Way...that's it...ah, there it goes. Noobs. And then they whine and call your deck all sorts of names and slander you and say you are a cheater.
Anybody who consistently makes poor choices and then blames you for the outcome, that's a noob. But you don't even have to call them on it, just ask them to pack up their things and move out of your space because your friend wants to come trade with you. That is priceless - asking them to clear out like so much rubbish.
I'm sure it happens online but my only experiences with this are IRL. Most of the mouthy noobs who call names online wouldn't have the nerve to do it to your face, because they are no longer protected by anonymity and distance.
This is awesome. I think it's silly that there is a reserved list and such low #'s of legacy and vintage players. They rationalize not crapping on people who own old cards by crapping on block after block of type 2 players. Nice to see WotC finally look out for the people that buy their cards year after year. Maybe this will become the future trend?
White, but it also classifies as an artifact for anything that artifacts matter for.
So all the artifacts with a colored cost are the color indicated in the cost? The border is still colorless is why i needed to ask. So anything with protection from white is immune to this artifact?
i want to soulbond them. Is it a legal move? Like in Standard could i bond Mirran crusader and Nightshade peddler?

I love it.

Well said. 2 points!
