I play Dredge when I'm not playing Genesis, so I know how brutal Leyline can be (Ravenous Trap is pretty scary though). I don't know of a lot of Dredge pilots around here, so I'll see.
Thanks, edited list. This deck seems pretty nasty post-rotation assuming Chalice isn't reprinted. Is 16 threats + 2 Memorial enough, or do I need to remove a couple cards to increase the threat count?
My first EDH general was Monoblack Control (Ashling the Extinguisher), and I've been trying to work on another good Monoblack list. I figured Ob made for the best general, since it's not hard to power him out and get nasty real fast.
The biggest problem for me is mixing between big bombs (the Eldrazi), removal, card draw, and good stuff in general (EDH is hard to pick and choose!). Help appreciated

Griefer synergy 1: Eye of the Storm + Shahrazad: How would you like it if every spell you played induced a subgame before it resolved? If this ever happens rest assured everyone around you will quit just to simplify things.
Griefer synergy 2: Yosei, the Morning Star + Emeria, the Sky Ruin + some sac outlet: The first actual wincon, locking out some poor soul forever. Bonus points if the sac outlet is Altar of Dementia.

...I'd rather have a minimum 4/4 that fixes my mana and swings at people. This also makes Loam Lion, Wild Nacatl, and Steppe Lynx better simply by existing, and opens up a land toolbox, too!
Sideboard could use some refining, but I have a general board that covers most of the matches (though something against Elfdrazi would be good...)
Cut Loam Lion (maybe, since forests are harder to hit than mountains or plains, we'll see though)
Cut Steppe Lynx (never happening, even with just four fetches this thing's insane)
Add Path (probably going to, Baneslayer is just murder otherwise)
Add Elite Vanguard (easier to make big than Loam Lion since he already is?)
Add Equipment (only one I'd want to add would be Behemoth Sledge)
Sideboard possibilities right now are:
White Knight (FS, pro-black, vamps can't kill him unless they play Infest)
Valeron Outlander (pro-black, no FS but probably easier to cast)
Kor Firewalker (don't need to explain why he's good SB)
Celestial Purge (notice a color hate pattern?)
Additional Soul Wardens (against other creature-heavy decks, having two or more Wardens out is a nightmare)
Luminarch Ascension (against control, they either don't burn my creatures or witness the terror of the Angel Factory)
Dragonmaster Outcast, the manlands, and Scute Mob hold down the lategame, and everything else comes out and swings relatively quickly. Knight of the Reliquary is a better beater than the Thoctar with fetches, and fixes my mana for me.
