Tournament practice room is pretty terrible and usually a waste of time. 2-mans are for playing matches in between rounds of other events. 8-mans are okay, but I only play them when I don't have time to do the next DE.
I would stick mainly to DE's on modo, doing 8-mans when you can't. DE's have really good EV and the best place to test decks because this is where you will find the most amount of grinders and people playing "real" decks.
The only other solution is to find like-minded individuals on MODO and test with them.
I just added my S/N to mine for when I record videos and ****, boring, but sometimes the stretched pic can be awful
You can get around the stretched pic, if you notice none of mine are stretched at all. What you do is open a game in fullscreen mode, print screen your screen, and then open that up in paint. Then you cut out JUST the playmat area of your screen, and save it.
Then when you want to make a new background you use that picture you just saved as your referenced for the actual resolution your picture needs to be, and save that picture in the modo background folder.
I really doubt this is Path to Exile, or any sort of 1cmc remove target creature spell, unless it has some niche wording like vampires/werewolves/zombies only. It'd be too powerful for standard with snapcaster mage.
I wonder how much the phantom drafts will be, if it's 2 tix then the phantom drafts will have some pretty crazy EV at 4-3-2-2. One match win out of three drafts has you break even.
Spirits has a tough time beating anything that drops a lot of really aggressive creatures fast like Zombies and Tempered Steel, or beating anything with lots of sweepers. I wonder if its even still well positioned, since at least online a lot of people are playing Zombies, Pod, WRR, or some sort of control deck with a bunch of sweepers.
The deck was initially built to beat Humans and Traditional Delver, which I don't see a lot of online anymore.
The match up isn't the greatest, but with 3 celestial purge in the sideboard it should be very winnable.
Don't board out Delver, or board in Surgical Extraction. Surgical extraction on a gravecrawler you already spent a card to kill is a losing proposition, you're just getting further and further behind. Same thing with extracting a geralf's.
Just play a defensive game and try to win with Celestial Purge, flashing them back with snapcaster mage, and Dungeon Geist. If you can stop the early rush of turn 1 2/2, turn 2 2/2, turn 3 Geralf's Messenger you have a good chance of stabilizing and winning with tokens, which is why having a high number of Celestial Purge is so important.
I also run 2 dismember main deck so that deals with any of the bigger mono-black drops like Obliterartor.
Running the main deck the same as Finkels is probably not optimal anymore either. Gut Shot isn't that strong anymore, and there isn't a need to have 2 main deck artifact removal spells unless you are playing against a lot of traditional Delver. My changes so far have been like this
-1 Vapor Snag
-1 Divine Offering
-1 Revoke Existence
-1 Gut Shot
+1 Phantasmal Image
+1 Negate
+2 Dismember (also been testing +1 Dismember +1 Go for the Throat)
Those "pressure holes" in your sleeves are exactly what I was talking about being wrong with my pack of KMC sleeves, though mine are much worse than your example.
I thought it was a patterned dimple thing on all the sleeves?
As long as all the sleeved look the same
I'd have no issue with anyone running them on a deck.
The problem is the pattern of dimples on every sleeve is unique, it's not like all the sleeves have the same pattern.
I recently ordered some KMC matte black sleeves and when I finally got them I noticed a lot of dimples (small dot impressions) on the backs of the sleeves that were extremely noticeable when light caused a glare.
Did I just get a bad pack of sleeves or are KMC sleeves always like this? I honestly don't even think they would be playable in any sort of sanctioned tournament.
Yea SoFF seems pretty good against Wolf Run when put that way. Especially since they probably can't afford to bring in even more sideboard cards like Ancient Grudge since they're already filling up on cards like Combust, Whip Flare, Autumn's Veil, etc...
Tragic Slip, Doom Blade, Go for the Throat... attach sword to Cptn. = profit!
It also saves Cptn. (at least the Cptn.) from Blast, Slagstorm, Whipflare and makes BSZ cost 5 mana. I still prefer the SoWaP, though. Almost exchanging life totals is fun ^^
It's just that swords REALLY clutter the 3cmc slot in the deck as it's different from Geist builds.
Sure, it blanks those three removal spells, but tragic slip doesn't even kill captain without morbid, and doom blade and go for the throat can easily be done in response to equipping. Maybe I'm not valuing the damage effects? In terms of just blanking removal sword of war and peace is better because people are playing more red based removal and the on hit effects are better for racing and getting through a clogged board in the mirror.
It is/was used by Geist based decks to fight Mono Green or Zombies. But as those decks are to be ignored you can easily play something else in the board. I cut my SoFaFs right after the first FNM I used them... they just don't fit in the deck.

You should be able if you edit the thread in "Go Advanced", I remember there being a button for "Edit Title".
Where is this "Go Advanced" option? I don't use the forums much.
Edit - Never mind, I found it. Thanks for the help.
Seems weird, I've seen it suggested as a sideboard card by some pros in articles recently for the Spirit Delver build. Which is why I was asking about it, it doesn't seem like there is any relevant green or black fliers that you would need to get through since all your creatures fly except for Snapcaster and unflipped Delvers. There also doesn't seem to be any black removal it's good against.
Well spot removal can't deal with stalker/geist and really moorland haunt is so good against UB control that eventually it should wear them out. I used to sideboard an Act of aggression to steal their titan after they tapped out and smacked them for an extra six but with control not very well positioned I took it out but if you're really having trouble that might be something to consider. From by experience the only "titans" this deck has issues with are Elesh norn and grave titan. The others can be vapor snaged profitably.
I also run 6 main deck counters with 2 more in the sideboard as opposed to Charles Gindy's list which only ran the 4 mana leaks main. Also something to keep in mind.
I don't think we are talking about the same type of UB control. The UB control deck I'm talking about basically only has Nephalia and Blue Sun's Zenith as its win con. There is no Elesh Norn, no Grave titan, no frost titan, no Consecrated Sphinx. It's just all instants, sweepers, and curses.
To note, esper deck isn't as hopeless to me as I made it sound in my original post. I mean more of the UB deck that Ben Stark made popular. Some decks are splashing white but keeping the theme of this deck, and not going the solar flare route. These are the control decks that just feel hopeless.

I don't know how to spoiler an image so that I can add them in the post without it being huge and hard to see the images.

Can anyone enlighten me on what the purpose of SoFF in the SB is used for?
Edit - I forgot to add the tag to my title, sorry about that. I don't see anyway to fix it after posting the thread, or a way to delete the thread.
Cardtags added, remember to use those for SCD-threads.
