Izocuin let out a sigh of relief, then sat down on the floor, with his head up, "I have no idea what I just did. That wasn't supposed to work so effortlessly." He then looks to his companions. "I don't know where we should head next, but maybe we should go in the opposite direction of the priest, they had to be coming from somewhere. Plus, it's probably best to avoid running into them a second time."
OOC: Yeah, Izocuin jumped up with this hair-brained scheme out of desperation. Maybe you guys could start drawing mana and surprise curb stomp them, but I don't know if they would detect it or not.
"Ah, that truly is regretful." Izocuin says scratching his head, but then he perks up. "But, congratulations! Good job both of you on finding that scythe, Kel will be happy for you nonetheless!" He enthusiastically grabs there hands and shakes them. "Erm, but this statue will be hard to move back, I'll need to stay here and amass some mana to get it moving again to Kel's. So you guys go back to working hard, I'll tell Kel the good news!"
OOC: haha, I think that came out of me being extremely exhausted and bored from a full day of work.
"Oh yeah, he just recently got his influence, did some economic mumbo jumbo with wool and crystal trading or something." Izocuin could sense that his bluff might work, he just needed to push it in the right direction. Regardless, he hoped that his companions would be working on a Plan B.
"So, Kel told me that this statue is enchanted, you know. It moves around like a golem when commanded, but is basically a soulless automaton, does whatever you say." Izocuin proceeded to knock on his golem friend's stone skin, "see, nothing in there. Kel told me it's supposed to also help with finding artifacts in the ground. Yeah, Patrician Kel really put a lot of work into this thing, really wants your boss to know he's got a friend in Estark merchant tycoon circles..."
Just plant the seeds. The more confident I am, the more trusting they'll be.
OOC: Yeah, so we're gonna get discovered. Here goes, well, craziness really. Basically, I'm going to stop them before they get to close, make them think I'm the only one here.
Realizing that things were about to get sticky, not just oh look my hands feel a bit moist and uncomfortable sticky, but molasses-covered, mosquito-splatter, oh-no-I-don't-think-I-can-move-my-hands sticky.
So, Izocuin leapt from behind his statue friend hoping to buy the others time, "Well hello there my priestly friends! I'm here with a gift from Patrician Kel! This fine statue was commissioned by him as a way to give all of you hard working guys here a big thumbs up!"
And with that Izocuin gave the two priest two thumbs up, "Who do I talk to about moving this thing?"
I hope the others understand what I'm doing...this would be a really stupid way to die.
Izocuin follows shortly behind Goda, crouching behind their golem friend. He considered readying mana for a moment, but decided against it in case the priest would be able to detect it.
"Alright, counter that Rattata's focus with a Scary Face! Then, slow it down with your string shot. Try to drag it through all of those poison barbs!"
Oh well, thought Kieron, I really wanted to try out a three-way battle. It's not ganging up on a Pokemon, I would have attacked that kid's Pokemon as well. A Free-for-all hybrid trainer-wild battle...
Izocuin sees the two priest then bolts back to his companions.
"Two priest on their way now," he says under gritted teeth. "Decision time. Come out fighting, try talking, or sneak away." He then turns towards the cavern, waiting for the priest to make an appearance.
Rattata, the mouse pokemon. Willing to eat anything, it can often be found settling down and reproducing rampantly wherever food is available. A normal-type pokemon.
The Rattata lifted its head toward something in the bushes, and twitched its whiskers nervously.
Kieron shut his Pokedex than smiled, "Hey kid, what do you say to a three way battle; you, me, and the Rattata. The winner gets to attempt to capture it."
He let out Nossa, who squealed wit excitement as she took in her new surroundings. Kieron bent down, and took a potion out of his pack, to his Spinarak up for the new battle.
"Ready, kid?" He then bends down and whispers to his Spinarak, "As soon as we start, I want you to try and cover the whole entire area with your poison stings. I want no one to be safe from poison" (Unlearned Toxic Spikes)
OOC: Yay, back from exam hell. Time to start summer.
Izocuin raised his hand, "I'll go ahead and do it. Be back shortly." With that he left the group and moved forward through the passage as quietly as possible.
Izocuin allows a sigh of relief to escape his body, then signals his two companions to follow him. He descends into empty rock chamber, trying to find where they should go next.
Izocuin sneaked up the path, being careful not too cause a ruckus. He tries to get a good look of what is down the slope without having to reveal any part of his body to whatever may be there.
"Ah, that truly is regretful." Izocuin says scratching his head, but then he perks up. "But, congratulations! Good job both of you on finding that scythe, Kel will be happy for you nonetheless!" Okay, I hope the others end up doing something...

The little spider squealed, then prepared to terrify the rat Pokemon to the best of her ability.

Izocuin tried to find out if there was any difference in the appearance of the two passageways.
