I only took a quick glance at the art and casting cost and fully expected this to be a Quillspike variant that interacted with keyword counters instead of -1/-1 counters.
There's also Brushland and Triumph of the Horde, which aren't bad -- I didn't realize Maelstrom Pulse had dropped so much, but that's not a terrible reprint, either. Kind of a shame that most of these just saw reprints, though. I would like to see more older cards in some of these products.
Are these not foil? If so, that seems like a step in the right direction for the Planeswalker Deck PWs.
They are it doesn’t have the number of cards and above the number in the set
No, what I meant was that it doesn't have the star next to its collector number like foils do (it just has the bullet). However, I completely forgot that non-foils of PW Deck cards exist in collectors packs, so the point is moot.
I do wish they would retroactively print some of the older Planeswalker Deck PWs as non-foils.
Yep -- I love these little coupons...and they happen fairly often. Great way to pick up cheap playsets or decent EDH singles for nearly free. Just grabbed a "free" Karn's Bastion.
Why there is an almost better sprout swarm that doesn't make saprolings? WE WANT SAPROLINGS
(well, maybe not "we" but just "i"... but i have to keep faith to my name)
What card are you talking about? I read through thre green spoilers twice and didn't see anything like that, but maybe my eyes deceive me.
I assume they are referring to Recruit the Worthy in W -- that caught my attention at first, as well, but no Convoke really makes this much weaker than Sprout Swarm (which is fine).
I haven't posted much in the last ~5 years, but I have fond memories of the days when the community would come together to crunch the "Orb of Insight" for each new release, as well as when the trading community was booming. I still lurk quite a bit, and would be interested in following the site at its new location!
Well well well... foil Locust God has been bought out... $42 for a LP version, and $20k for the NM one, he he he ha ha ha... so, there must a combo figured out in War of the Spark... anyone know what it is? Wuzz'zizzit????
It was just a pricing anomaly that caused people to panic-buy other copies, driving the price up. There is no real change in demand for the card.
Most people covered these in other posts, but I would like to see a reprint of old Extended favorites to revive some of those decks, even if they wouldn't be competitive in today's meta:
I would also love to see other random tribal cards, like Contested Cliffs, etc.
I think the problem is, as fun as these would be, they don't really add a ton of value to packs -- so you either need to throw the people a few bones in the way of high-powered reprints, or put all of the value in the new cards.

It wasn't a one-day thing, but it does appear to be targeted, so YMMV.
Not a huge coupon, but good for getting a cheap EDH single for what is essentially free (+ tax), if you play it right.

One of the nice upsides with Cloudshift was that you could permanently steal an opponent's creature after Threatening it, etc.

Link to previous discussion.
I just picked up a few cheap singles for EDH and was able to combine multiple items in my cart before applying the coupon.
