i played a GTP for Atlanta a 2 weeks ago with kithkin i made it to the finals i play 4 path to exile and, 3 brave the elements and 1 o-ring no ajani doesnt do anything against 4CC and now against faries have mass removal i play elspeth tirel ranger of eos sideboard against mono red with the other tenders

i won a WPN qualifier with boros bushwhacker field was full of control and i think migth see some play fAst decks can give suprises.

this is how the match up turn out:

round one: uw tron
g1: he controls the table early and he had spellburst in hand with buy back moon effect didn't appeared
g2: 12 goblins first turn on the plaY HE SCOOPS
g3: magus first turn i bash him until he was at 12 then i topdeck a demigod finally and put him on 5 life with only mountain on the field he top deck an azorious signet and cast a thirst of knowledge and drew celestial purge on demigod and cast another signet and thats it he got control of the table and spell burst in hand with buy back again

round two: thoper w/ gift
g1: he got a game loss for illegal deck list
g2: magus early and put chalice on 0 and 2 and he didn't know how to deal with that the i procede to put 8 goblins in the table and GG
(1-1) 2-0

round 3 : mono red burn
g1: first turn chalice on 1 second turn chalice on 2 plus demigod bashing GG
g2: first turn chalice on 1 play demigod turn 2 and chalice on 2 turn 3 GG
(2-1) 2-0

round 4: Dark depth
g1: desu first turn he didn't find an answer
g2: he bounce my magus i didn't put much pressure and thoper combo for the win
g3: this was stupid turn one he used thougthsize turn 2 he uses thougthsize and duress and turn 3 hes thougthsize me again gg
(2-2) 1-2

round five: mono red
g1: demigod first turn he didnt find the doble burn
g2: he burns me to dead
g3: he wasted explosives in 3 chalice and then I combo off the goblins 10 at ur face GG
(3-2) 2-1

round six: R/G scapeshift
g1: deus and magus first turn he scoops automatically
g2: didnt find a big creature but i had chalice on 1, 2 and 3 plus a blood moon eternal witness bash me to dead
g3: 10 goblins first turn he didnt side firespout GG
(4-2) 2-1

I ended up 11th place
*fun fact: dont ID if ur not sure, all the 12 points ID in the last round one of them didnt make the cut lol, 2 persons with 13 point didn't make top 8 so sad for them

the tournament was lots of fun I will play the same deck in the last chace qualifier wich is a few months away

it was a 52 person PTQ i ended up going 4-2-0

blood moon completly wrecks the deck boros whatever. they cant sack lands the cant "combo" with just mountains and u have chalice in one, then dead/gone in the board should be a pretty decent matchup.

why ppl play scapeshift combo if any moon effect completely disrrupt valakut...
repeal and CC aren't enough

Oh yeah !!! Puerto Rico its going to be a lot of fun for me, plus 18 is the legal age for drinking wich is awesome for those who are under 21. is not that hot in May is by july that gets +95 degrees F. I need to qualify for Amsterdam!!!

W/R is the best combination in this pool for sure 2x blinding Mage are to strong to be left out plus it can be played 24 spells 16 lands.

banshee is so strong!!! 3 life each turn even the turn it comes in to play is kind of a big deal in limited

WW kithkin. They have two pumps for your creatures at turn two is going to be sick. I think i can win nationals again with mono white.

that would give them a better match up against mono red

Qn'T is kithkin worst match up, but kithkin can beat quick and toast, just add mirrorweave and be really lucky, I played kithkin in the Nats of my country and i won. In the semifinal i was against qn't. i put burrenton forge-tender main deck against firesprout, in the first game he get the sixth land and i had 3 tokens from spectral prossesion, 1 burrenton forge tender and 4 land untap to mirrorweave i attack he plays cloudthreser and 1 mirroweave the big guy, 21 to the face, 2nd game he got mana screwd.
Pd. if someone cast you oona the queen of the fae and you dont have the removal right there is an auto scoop.

kithkin make me won Nats and i was playing standart. Is a great deck it can deal perfectly with firesprout, but infest is a strong card againts any aggro deck with creatures x/2, I think Doran the Explorer can make a comeback.
