I had a Japanese Glistening Oil in my EDH deck... Worst idea EVER!!! I tend to use foreign cards in my EDH decks and people generally don't have a problem. That card gave me all hell!!!
I personally use Ultra Pro - Pro Matte sleeves. I've used Dragon Shield for the longest but in recent times I've been getting packs with horrible miss cuts and printing errors in my sleeves. I've only had one pack of pro matte have a printing error. They shuffle well and don't break very easy. check them out I think you'll enjoy them. I currently use them for standard and EDH decks.
Koira Atua. Nice! Always thought she was a hybrid? Half Merfolk and half Elf. Kind of explains why she has legs and why her color alignment in duel of the planeswalkers is U/G
The problem I need to figure is what little things I should run. Ponder is a yes for sure. It let's me decide weather or not to play Jin off of Summoning Trap or Quicksilver Amulet.
These are just some cards that come to mind that can work together. I was thinking of a Green/Blue or even Mono Green with just Jin in it. Now that the Amulet has returned you can cheat Jin in during the beginning of there end step and have him go off pretty much winning the game. Summon Trap has the same working appeal in my opinion. Other nasty's you can throw in are like Ulamog or Emrakul. The only problem I see the deck having a problem is with Red. Thoughts on putting together this deck would be appreciated.
I was so disappointed the one time i decided to buy the FTV they where 100 per order and just keep on climbing after, screw limited print runs.
Also i fully expect this ones to fly from stores the same way the RUW EDH deck left orbit after the local wall-mart finally decided to put them for sale a full week after the release. (another terrible thing is wall-marts nearby NEVER replenish stock of magic it sucks so much.
It's not Wall-mart's responsibility to restock. They have a distributor just like a local shop does which deals with all the card games. Same goes for Target and K-Mart.
Not only that, but it has few ways to interact with valakut or splinter twin before they can end the game. Goblin grenade won't take down an end step exarch so you need 2 non-grenade burn spells and mana to cast them, or dismember. Remember that you have to also run a ton of goblins to keep the grenade playable and there are only two that one actually wants to play in red burn/rdw, goblin guide and ember hauler. Valakut is a race and certainly isn't one you will "dominate". Maybe you can construct a rdw/burn that has a small edge against 'kut but certainly won't be dominating.
No you don't have to sacrifice a goblin just like you don't have to pay the mana cost as it is part of the cost of casting the spell, when reverberating a goblin grenade.
I understand where your coming but first game I'm not seeing that and when I do see it second game they can't gain enough health for me to care. 8 damage for 3cc and a sac'd goblin is still worth it. Leyline might be a problem but thats where my Leyline of Punishment comes in handy.
Now put Goblin Grenade and Reverberate on the same boat and you have half of someone's life gone already with the sac of just one Goblin. I personally think red will be rocking the format for the next 3 months till {INN} drops. Thoughts?
I'm right now playing a Jhoira deck and my fellow gamer's do not like it. Training Grounds blows the deck out of proportions! I'm getting to the point where the deck isn't that much fun anymore. :/
I have it foil and I think it's amazing!!!
Psychatog has always gotten to me. That grin... Kind of reminds me of a gremlin and I grew up hating that movie!
Jin-Gitaxias, Core Augur
Quicksilver Amulet
Summoning Trap
Mana Leak
Harrow
Cultivate
Buried Ruin

Oh. Just read it. Oh well I still think RDW has potential.

They still have Goblin Guide and Lightning Bolt for 3 months.
Now we add Goblin Grenade and Reverberate.
