I can tell you that one card I never want to draw but have in there as a searchable catch all answer always ends up in my opening hand.
This is 100% Eldrazi Conscription for me. I'll wshuffle it away on a free mulligan and it always seems to be my first draw afterward. It almost makes me want to cut Sovereigns!
Primeval made for a lot of midrange consistency. Most of my fair decks that run green just got a lot worse. Hope everyone on modo enjoys losing to abusive combos facilitated by the actually broken blue, black and brown cards.
All I do these days is play Commander online. Since they've instituted duels I do those way more than mulitplayer because people are always disconnecting and going AFK. I tend to build all of my decks to their maximum potential and I'm not afraid to strip mine a ravnica bounceland when its the optimal play. Doing these things tends to get people angry and rage quit so these days I start all of my own games and put "Competitive" in the notes. I get far far less rage quits because there are a lot of people who want a real commander duel, or a game where people aren't going to whine about obvious spike plays.
You might want to start games yourself and then before you launch the game tell them that you're playing Azami, and that it's not a crazy powerful version. Let them make a choice before you go into the game.
Then again I'd say just make it as good as possible and try to smash. That's the most fun.
This is basically due to a disagreement between us and the guys that coded our bot. It is something that I have pushed hard for but it's a long story and not really very interesting. The good news is that you can send a pm to "mtgo traders" and we will be happy to move any credit off of mtgotradersbuybot to our sellbots at anytime. I know it's an extra hassle but at least there is an option. Sorry for the inconvenience.
Honestly I'm just happy to find out that there's that option
Let me know if Ravarshi's reply helped you. Thanks Ravarshi for replying!
I think what he means is that if you sell cards to the MTGOTRADERS buy bot, and you're left with .71 in credit, that it doesn't carry over to your sell bots. And the credit just sits there until you get 1.00 for a tix.
I've also wondered why this credit doesn't carry over?
I do a lot of business with Troll and Toad and I'm really satisfied with their service. Recently I bought a listed NM foil card from them and when it showed up it had a slight crease in it that while it was still playable it certainly devalued it and wasn't worth of NM classification. A quick email later and I was fully reimbursed and I kept the card. I'll continue to do business with any shop that treats customers this way.
Only 2 of these Legends weren't already available in foil. Most of these are from the last few sets. Horrible. I'd much rather have the original foils as the foiling process on these FTV sets is pretty awful. What's the point of this product? Who is it supposed to sell to? You don't get any new foils and you don't get any old cards.
I like to run Sliver Queen as my commander. You can run things like Conspiracy and Xenograft to make her tokens into allies. It allows you to pump your allies for 2 mana, increases your other triggers and such. Run it along with Ashnod's Altar for infinite ally trigger pumpage.
My Rafiq deck is approx $1560. It's all english foil where possible because I hate foreign cards especially in a casual environment. That's also including my revised duals even though I actually run my foil proxy duals instead of picking up BB ones. Judge Foil fetches because they have the the new border and it matches the Zen fetches. Also my Gilded Drake is miscut so I added $5 to that.
I beat players who land Sol Ring before I do quite often on MODO and RL, sure sometimes they get a nut draw and I draw like crap and no one else draws anything but most of the time that person draws the attention to themselves early and I control the situation while everyone pounds on them. I then craft a sick hand and smash the table. Thanks guy who got out Sol Ring > grim Monolith then cast Godo on turn 2.
Play more artifact destruction. Build your decks better. Stop whining about how strong certain situations are and instead learn to overcome them. The problem with the "ban this" casual mentality is that it harbors poor play. I used to get smashed by Azami decks, Zur decks and u/b combo decks. Then I learned how to play Magic.
Power Artifact + Grim Monolith/Basalt Monolith
Basalt Monolith + Rings of the Brighthearth
Rings of the Brighthearth + Everflowing Chalice at 4 + Voltaic Key
Tidespout Tyrant + Sol Ring + 0 cost artifact
Tidespout Tyrant + Mana Crypt + 1 or 0 cost Artifact (hint use sol ring profit)
No Cabal Coffers in the list? Whaaaat?
Cabal Coffers + Rings of the Brighthearth + Deserted Temple
These are the best infinite mana combos you aren't playing and are more Consistent than Palinchron + Hide Tide/Caged Sun/Gauntlet of Power.
Are you on some kind of strict budget? Also Mana Vault is good.

Not too bad I think.

I'd gladly give you $30 for foil Urborg. I'd also feel like a total Jerk. It's going for $60 these days.
