really cool card I like it a lot. probably won't be amazing in standard but definitely good in limited and could be decent in extended. Overall it just looks like a fun card and the art work is pretty decent to boot.

Complete limited bomb, definitely a good thing he's mythic. for casual he might be lots of fun to run 4 of- he could get crazy out of hand.

bah i thought it said comes into play with -x/-x and got all exited. still decent I suppose, could be really strong in limited. I think its a rare as well, uncommon just doesn't feel right to me.

Overall I really like the deck and have come to a few conclusions. Firstly Filter lands over pain lands. there's no good reason to run pain lands, I'm really satisfied with the mana base, and don't see any reason to play llanowar wastes or Karplusion forest, they're unnecessary and make the RDW match up even worse than it should be.

RDW is also why I'm running Kitchen finks over Sprouting Thinax not to mention the match up against Elves or the mirror when a Colossus hits the table. I've noticed a lot of decks running that single Loxodon warhammer, and have been considering it but only running 1 seems a bit too random so I'm thinking of sideboarding 2 or so. I'm not sure if Shriekmaw is the best option but I've found that it's extremely useful and any card advantage that jund ramp can get it should use.

which leads me to my sideboard which I'm not overly fond of. guttural response really feels out of place, and it feels like it hurts more than it helps, with how fast ramp goes into top deck mode drawing a response is almost painful. Not quite sure what to do with my sideboard so any suggestions would be appreciated. I've found that the RDW match up is especially difficult so sideboard advice in that area especially.

Actually, 5 mana for 4 power isn't overcosted in limited. It's only solid. You are just spoiled probably with all the undercosted and overcosted cards since Lorwyn block limited.

it is overcosted when its a 4/3 for 5. the only reason it looks remotely playable is because it has evasion and that has an activation for UB I don't want to be investing 2 mana each turn just to get 2 damage in. Jhessian infiltrator is playable Vectis Agents is a dreg.

wow pretty awesome- its going to be big in standard, anything that has red in it will at the very least sideboard if not maindeck it. it's a shame it doesn't remove the creature from the game like demonfire but other than that top notch.

bah I'm disappointed with all these protection bears. they could have done something a little more interesting.

MTGOtraders for sure- I've bought of his site twice and will probably be the site I go to from now on. the second time I ordered I accidentally checked out wrong (opting for tickets instead of paypal). I told him and he was cool about it, I didn't have to re-order just had to send payment to him on paypal. Also Theres a 13% discount on all card orders over $5 with paypal 15% on orders over $50 and 17% on orders over $100. His prices are pretty good and his store hours are really long so you can get your cards pretty fast. Haven't tried any place else.

As far as tix go I would like to know of a good place to get them as well, but it seems to me that mostly private sellers sell tix for low prices and I don't really want to take that gamble cause I hear people get ripped off a lot.

    as long as they print:
    Kird ape
    shock lands
    Wrath of god
    birds of paradise
    sakura-tribe elder
    Treetop village

I'll be happy. this is a core set, its not going to have anything amazing- just staple cards which is appropriate considering it's a core set. I think that they might reprint some of the planeswalkers, depending on how many are printed in future sets. They really do add a lot to the game and seem to be fairly popular.

I definitely agree with the people who want sakura-tribe elder reprinted. he's an awesome card that saw tons on play when he first came out and green really needs a boost. he's greens 'equivalent' to mogg fanatic and would really give aggro some much needed help against control.

I really hope they do bring back the shock lands, that would be sweet. Too bad we're not going to be able to choose any of the cards in the set. I'm not a huge fan of these smaller sets but I guess I'll be ok with it this time so long as 11th actually has shock lands.

One thing I'd like to ask is what you prefer Kitchen Finks or Sprouting Thrinax? I've been more interested in Kitchen Finks mostly because of Chameleon Colossus but I can definitely see the appeal of having a creature that dodges jund charm and produces 3 chump blockers after it dies. have any of you guys found one to be much better than the other?
