Algorithms - thought it was going to go poorly, but was very reasonable and I think I did well. Waiting for mark.
Discrete Math and Formal Logic - Again, a course I thought was going to be very hard, but ended u[p being comically easy for me while the rest of the class **** themselves.
Assembly - Thought I got destroyed, ended up getting the 4th best mark in the class.
Game Design - Aced my practical exam, still to write the theory
C - I write today, but should be a cakewalk.
Second year is so awesome, because all my courses are comp sci, when in all my previous years I could only take one comp sci class at a time.
Any suggestion that tips your opponent off is pretty bad IMO. I've won so many games because my opponent forgot that I could flashback a Geistflame or Devil's Play. You really want to remind yourself. The most subtle way of doing this might be to put a die next to your graveyard, but even that might be too telling.
removing damage from stack - makes it so i don't feel like cheating newer players, and makes it so that you have to actually make decisions, and not just autopilot to stack damage, sac Mogg Fanatic
Being able to destroy any land is much more powerful than simply being able to punish a player who uses a "greedy" manabase of mostly nonbasics. As well, the interaction with Crucible of Worlds is unfun when a player can't even rely on basic ands to cast their spells.
Well I'm SOOOOOoo glad that wizards took the chance to try and make doubling season available for the casual croud, oh you know, maybe in the precon edh decks from a few months ago.
No, like usual judges get another pandering to. So, now we have a card that is already stupid priced, lets make it foil, rarer than hell, and reward judges instead of the people who line their wallets month in and month out.
I hate these posts which show blatant ignornace of the judge system and how it works. Do you know that judges for the most part are not paid for 12+ hour shifts per day? We get paid in product and promos, and for events like GPs, judges have to p[ay their airfare to the event. That's right - it's extremely expensive to go judge a GP, and you're lucky to break even. Wizards needs to give chase promos for big events or you'll have nobody qualified willing to judge big events.
As a judge, I would never use the season, but would happily take the crypt for my cube. However, I understand the appeal of a card like season, it's just not for me.
I have no reason to trust what wizards says might happen in the future. Oh you were preparing for a pro tour? Let's change the format 3 weeks in advance. You don't have the cards? Too bad.
I can easily see them saying, we thought we might reprint somethings, but then decided it wasn't a good idea. Remember folks, this is Wizards of the Coast we're talking about.
