Nah I think that lights camera action is all going to be smaller sets because Rise of Eldrazi is going to be a bigger set and not a smaller set. They are all going to tie in some how some way and its going to be a good thing
Except that Lights/Camera/Action is a completely different block, on a different plane, with different things.
RotE is the 3rd set in Zendikar block, even though it is a big set.
It's just not mechanically connected, and is designed to be drafted alone.
idk myself. it is REALLY expensive to cast, and if its the general it will be REALLY obvious to everyone what is going on. My group would look at my lonely general, glance around the table, see that...THING...and commence to pounding a single person to a pulp because the THOUGHT of Iona touching the battlefield.
I prolly wont use it, but i tend to play more black splash other stuff (currently on working between doran or teneb for a general), but i do not see this as that bad. I mean, Rofellos and Braids, Cabal Minion were banned at one point to slow down the format. At 9 mana, if you or anyone else has gotten nothing to answer that, then by all means maybe you need the 5-6 turns of not able to cast anything to rethink your deck/how you play/etc. Kinda like a time-out, but during a game of MtG.
QFT.
Sure, with all the ways to get to 9 mana in EDH, everyone will see Iona and be like, "Hey, that's gonna eff us all over. BEAT HIM DOWN!!!11!1!1one!"
1. The "____ without _____" phrase is so generic that almost all mechanics can fall under that.
Kicker without Mana costs Affinity without Artifacts (which as already done actually!) Morph without creatures (done also) Threshold without graveyard Madness without regular costs
2. And All additional costs (Splice, Kicker, Buyback, etc.) works with all mana reducing mechanics (Convoke, Affinity, Delve, alternate mana costs, etc.). so Splice and Delve, while still possible, is not unique enough to be singled out to be speculated to return.
If, on the product page, it said that this premium deck had a preview card for ZEN, I would be a little more inclined to believe slivers are returning in ZEN. But there is no such statement. Therefore, I conclude this is all a bunch of hooey.
Don't get me wrong: I love slivers. I collect them. And I would love to see them return again. But now is not the time. Next block at the earliest. The pendulum now swings away from tribes and toward...something else.
The foil Sliver deck comes out AFTER Zendikar comes out.
so...we never know.
Just because of the fact that i can use all 5 colors and run some powerful spells from all 5 colors.

any suggestions on what it should contain?
Please and thank you.
EDIT!:I also want to have a vampire sub-theme.
he seems good enough.

Because the Monolith's ability is a mana ability.
Why run more than 1 of these, let alone 1 at all?
JUNK!
Amplify without Creatures/Creature Types?
seems plausible.
hasn't been seen in a while.
