Letting things slip in speech is understandable, but one reason why it is likely not as tolerated here on the boards is due to the fact that you can edit and double-check what you write down before you let the world see it. That's the big issue IMO.

They should. There are better/more accurate/intelligent/considerate/etc. terms for what they are trying to convey. Why use language with derogatory meanings like that?
I get what your question was. That is why it is so insane. If you think I am flaming you I am not. I am asking you as a member of this community simply to not use words that could be perceived as "hate speech." I know it isn't a huge deal to most people and a lot of folks use that language, but it is offensive to a lot of us.

Also, different people find different things offensive. Different cultures use different terms different ways. Flaming me for asking a simple question is quite offensive.
My question was more along the line of if i let this kind of thing slip 4 times in 8 years what's the most that's going to happen, like I'll get a warning or the kind of 4 warnings and the 5th i'll be banned for..

You think that the rich and famous get away with doing drugs etc while poor people get sent to jail, because there is a bias in the way laws are.

I don't beleive that, I believe Police speed and get away with it because they don't want to give a ticket to someone they work with who's going to be pissed off, or they were buddies.
If your going to leave him banned, at least make it BLATANT that he was banned for infractions of misuse of the site during a suspension and then if someone is more curious, give them the explanation.
Vol is great, but I think everyone is remembering that your opponent can attack him...

IMHO Vol is quite terrible. He doesn't win games he is more of a win more card, so if you already are winning he'll make you win a wee bit faster.
When you drop him his +1 ability is ok, he pumps your board for 1 turn, because if you drop him turn 3 or 4 you arn't dropping another creature that turn.
His -2 ability is the best ability of the 3.
We all know -6 get 5 Dragons is good, but hey it takes 3 turns before that ability can go off, that's plenty of time for a pop in the mouth, and if your playing against another red deck he'll probably get a Flave Javelin to the face.
I still have the feelin that a good portion of us would do the same thing as Bob Maher if offered the chance.
Say you were quite a good player but were a few points for Qing for a Nats JUST before the cut off and your TO offered to 4-0 you even if you didn't 4-0 just to get your free ride to Nats.
Those are all counterable.
