Even at 4 reg ones you're getting a good deal at that price. Ask for $2 refund to make up the difference if it's that big of a deal, that'll be 3 each with free shipping. There's someone on here buying them at $4 each

I know it's a good deal. That's why I bought it. This is probably the fourth time I've bought something at a good price (I hit f5 a lot), and had the seller back out. It's getting annoying.

    So...

I made a purchase I was happy with. Four Basilisk Collars, one foil for $14.

Four days later (After the price increase) I get the e-mail:

Hello and thank you for bidding on our item.....in preparing your item for shipping I realized that instead of 3 reg and 1 foil....we have 4 reg. Is that ok? If not...please let us know and we will refund you money. We previously sold 3 reg and 1 foil and when we relisted it forgot to change it.

Think this is legitimate? Here is the link to the auction:

Who else thinks this is incredibly annoying? People who keep shuffling their hands nonstop whether or not its their turn. Or the people who draw a card, doesn't look, then swipes it on the table for like 5 seconds and finally looks at it. Thoughts?

If you find this annoying, my goal is complete, and you are at least slightly tilted.

    They are both bad.

If you are interested in playing mono black in type 2, play Vampires.

Out of curiosity, how do you know they are fake? How did you acquire them?

    Quote from Squappy
I've checked around a bit and I'm pretty surprised at the value of non-playable P9 (Power 9) cards.
P9 proxies sell for crazy amounts and CE (collector's edition) sells for even more. I've seen a CE Black Lotus sell for over $150 on ebay.

I currently have 5 Moxen (1 of each) and a Black Lotus. I'm pretty sure they're fake, but they look EXACTLY like the originals. Same picture, normal back, same thickness, doesn't look weird under a light, etc.
As I said, I'm pretty sure they're fake, so I don't want to try to sell them as the real thing. But I have no idea what they would be worth, either as proxies for decks or collection cards.

If anyone could help me price them, it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I can't remember my whole box, but I DO distinctly remember pieces of the left side. The first 2 packs from the top BOTH had Anowan, the Ruin Sage. Then pack 8 down had a Jace.

My left side also had two Anowans on the top, no Jace though.

Looks like random bulk minus the Depths and a couple other things, you probably wont get as much as you want for this.

The Head Judge was playing in the event, and was across from me. He witnessed every other event of people showing eachothers cards and did nothing.

    Hi,

Our drafts are minimum rules enforcement and not worth much. Everyone talks during the drafts all the time, people show each other their picks and everything like that.

Today I was DQ'd (No one has ever been DQ'd before, or anything at all, not even warnings), for looking at the top card in a pack I hadn't got to yet. The person beside me opened a foil Jace, and slammed it on the table while they showed everyone. I asked what his other rare was, hoping it was another Jace (jokingly) and looked at it. He told me I was cheating (Which, I guess, it is, but with the way our drafts work it hasn't seemed to matter that we've seen a bunch of other peoples picks all draft) and DQd me on the spot.

My question is, are you allowed to DQ someone on the spot without any warnings or anything like that in this low of rules enforcement?

That's the problem with 'reputable' sellers. They do things standardized. My eBay address is different than my Paypal address (ones my parents). Every single purchase I make I send multiple messages everywhere possible (In my payment, through ebay, etc). To make sure they send it to my address and not my parents.

I find anyone that sells things regularly on eBay sends it to my parents.

What do you search to find one of these (or the Shepherd?). I am interested in getting them, but can never find them.

  • posted a message on What are you local store's policies?
    1. If you receive store credit for winning a tournament (FNM, Legacy, Extended, Magic Game Day, etc.), what are you allowed to spend it on? (Examples: packs, singles, tournament entry, prereleases, releases, Magic Game Day, boxes, special products like FTV and Duel Decks, etc.)

    Mostly anything. I think.

    2. How much do prereleases and releases cost at your local store? (for those outside the U.S., please provide the cost of the appropriate number of packs for reference)

$35 sealed, 18$ draft. Is the suggested price really $25?

    3. Does the store owner play in the tournaments? If so, does he/she play to win and keep a portion of the prize payout?

Yes. Sometimes he keeps his prizes sometimes he gives it out.

    4. Does the store owner take a cut
(i.e. 90% payout, 10% kept by the store) of the entry fees from tournaments (FNM, Legacy, Extended, Magic Game Day, etc.)?

Yes and no. He says he doesn't, but we pay what he charges for Booster Packs to draft. Meaning he still makes the markup we pay from what they cost him.

    5. Does the store owner let certain people play in tournaments for free? (Examples: employees, family, close friends, etc.)

    Not that I know of.
