If a player would draw a card other than the first card drawn each turn, that player discards a card instead. If Essence Void was kicked, it gains "When Essence Void enters the battlefield, each player draws a card."
As the Eldrazi neared, it felt as if the universe itself was on the verge of collapse.
When you cast Flesh Hunter, you may destroy target creature. If you do, Flesh Hunter enters the battlefield with a number of +1/+1 counters equal to that creature's power.
Okay, suppose I cast a Mistbind Clique and champion a Cloud of Faeries. Next turn I cast Sway of the Stars, what happens to the Cloud of Faeries? Does it get shuffled into my library by sway or remain on the battlefield?
I'd much rather see a Mutilate reprint than a Damnation reprint. Damnation was perfect for Planar Chaos, but Mutilate is much more flavorful/suitable for black removal and it gets rid of those pesky undying creatures. Sadly, as was mentioned above, black just gets intermitant mass removal.
PS: I've always loved Infest, wouldn't mind seeing it again either.
Sorry, been unable to judge the last few months. Haven't even had time to play the last two months. Hopefully after December rolls around, I can help out judging again.
Thank you for the clarification. There are other challenges that involve words not included in rules text. I was just making sure I understood what you were looking for.
The MCC (FCC previously) required cards in English text. I can remember at least 2 different discussions on the fairness of Quality pts for those who don't speak English as a primary language. It was always kept that way because English is universally spoken.

I'm enjoying it. I'm interested in seeing what terribleness Megiddo is going to inflict in the final round, whether I make it there or not.
