    Hey everyone! I'm hoping you nerds can help us update this detailed Dominaria map I've been putting together with my friends on The Vorthos Cast. We've already overlaid many of the maps we could find or work logically to place locations. What I need from all of you, if you want to add a location or change a name, is give me some kind of reference for it.

    Hey everyone, Jared Blando has ordered prints of his Dominaria map! Keep an eye on his website in a week or so. The Dominaria Map will be 30"x20", which is awesome.

    Orbital rotations are technically different on different planes, but a "Year", as mentioned in the story these days, is approximately the same unit of measure everywhere. We didn't used to think so, but Teysa's modern age of 112 only works if she was born around 9965 Z.C. like is said in Guildpact, which would put the events of the original Ravnica block just a few years pre-Mending and still add up to the modern day.

    So a "year" when mentioned in-story is the same unit of measure everywhere (otherwise everyone in-universe would have to constantly be doing math), even thought technically planes have different solar cycles. I know it hurts, but it's the easiest way to track a multiverse-spanning narrative. The whole different years mean different things only worked when you never saw much cross-pollination.

    I would look at Vivien's as if that's her general concept but that not everything about it as canon. Kind of like Nissa's DotP profile, before she actually appeared in Zendikar.

    These bios are not canon. They were created for the purposes of this survey outside of the Creative team. Tamiyo does not have retcon powers.

    As the Branding side of things expands, I'm going to imagine we're going to see a lot more not-quite-accurate stuff like this.

    Not true, the idea is not recent. The stories of Magic pre-mending have a lot of impactful deaths and many important characters die just like that.

    I don't remember worrying for any character in Ixalan.
    They really, really don't. If they die, it's almost always at the end of a novel or during one of the 'cleaning house' stories like Invasion or Time Spiral. And most of the time those deaths are for characters created for that story. There are almost no examples of important characters dying mid-narrative.

    Elder Dragons to the Mending is the curated timeline I put together (the wiki's is has a lot of irrelevant events). I talk about how everyone still alive is still alive in Living Legends of Dominaria.

    Jodah's art is sweet, although he's been de-aged somewhat (but then Jaya looked nothing like her novel cover appearances, either). I'm guessing they're making him flat-out ageless instead of severely slowly aged.

    Re: Opt - I wonder if that's a powerstone? Besides the Immortal Sun, they're the only things we know can hold sparks.

    If you haven't read my piece, here's a simple Raven Man candidate reasoning: if it's an existing character, both The Raven's Eye Part 3 and The Veil of Deceit would need The Raven Man to have a connection to Shandalar. That's a short list.
