Zones are pretty untouched in general. Like what would a game of magic be like if there was no stack? "All spells have split second"
5RRR
Warp World.
For the rest of the game, there are two battlefields. When you cast this spell, each player may move any permanent from the first battlefield to the second battlefield. Then, when a card would enter the battlefield, the player decides which battlefield is entered.
Doubtful, as it would requre MUCH more table space, make games more complicated, and would actually reduce card interaction.
4BB
Immortality
If a card would enter the graveyard from the battlefield, instead that card remains on the battlefield.
If a card would enter the graveyard from a player's hand, instead that card remains in that players hand.
Material Abundance
2G Sorcery
Exile all lands from your library. For the rest of the game, whenever you would draw a card, instead you may return a land exiled this way to your hand.
NO!, it is hard enough to get players to stop putting 10 land in their 90 card decks (yes I have seen that).
There are only two changes I'd make to the pack structure:
1. No more tip cards. At the very least limit them only to the backs of tokens.
2. Foil tokens
I've been saying this for a long time.
Tip cards are wasted paper, but as bad as they are "add cards" are even worse. They are nothing more then "Play FNM!" or "Check out these sleaves" or something like that. If something like that is going to remain in the packs then put them on the back of a token so I don't have a stack of 150+ cards that will never serve any game purpose and can't even be recycled.
The real fun side effect of that is that with that change there will be a token card in EVERY pack. So the rare tokens like PW emblems or Tuk Tuk the Returned won't be so impossible to find.
I will go ahead and just be "that guy" at this point.
IF new Gates are going to be printed what would they actually add to the game?
Let's say M14 has a new Enchantment - Shrine in it. That's great for the players who were around during Kamigawa and have the other 5 shrines but for new players it does nothing unless there is other support for the card.
You could also look at it this way, using the Gate of Hell from earlier.
Gate of Hell
Land -Gate TB T Target creature gets -3/-3
or
Arch of Shadows
Land TB T Target creature gets -3/-3
Which land would be better suited for an environment that is completely removed from the Ravnica gates?
We could always see more gates, shrines, or Allies in a special product like we got more ninja in the Night of the Ninja Planechase deck but I would say that the chances are very low outside of something like that.
You might notice that each pairing is a RTR Guild & GTC guild.
It makes the most sense because the booster draft order is DGM, GTC, RTR. The format encourages you to choose one of the five "alliances". You draft that "alliance" in DGM, then one of the guilds in GTC and then the other guild in RTR.
I fully expect to see some future spoilers further solidifying this two-guild pairing.
Hate to break it to you but look at your colors again. GWU Arc GBR Arc RBU Arc WBG Wedge URW Wedge
While it makes some sense mechanically I really have a hard time believing that the Rakdos and Dimir would be able to work together for very long and Selesnya and Orzhov hits me wrong as well ( I think there was some mention of controlling the world spirit or something but I still have issue with it.).
It's also kind of a random way to pair the colors and not really fair to either Arcs or Wedges. While I'm sure we will see colors overlap on a few cards I don't think we will see any kind of major theme.
So because Theros must have a gorgon theme, and because Vraska is a Gorgon she must be in Theros?
No, I'm sorry. She is from Ravnica and will likely never leave there.
With each new block we will get new planeswalkers and to keep the character gallery from getting too crowded some will just have to be left in the blocks/planes where we saw them. Putting storyline aside...
I would say any time you are having trouble with the personality of a wedge look at the Planar Chaos dragons along with the Commander legends and to a lesser extent their decks.
Oros, the Avenger
He hits anything non-white with damage.
What I get from that he will relentlessly and viciously hit you for hitting those he cares about.
Is there a way to link the mana symbols on the main page?
I found myself wanting to click on them to see the five pages and they weren't clickable so that's one thing.
The other is that you could add the other 4 symbols to the color pages so people can just go right to the next color rather then having to back up each time.
I would also agree that Theros will likely be the standard Big/small/small since we just got two blocks in a row with wonky structure.
INN was Big/small/Big and RTR is Big/Big/small. We are due for some normalcy.
Somewhere between "a snowball's chance in hell" and none.
Just because an old card has some kind of synergy with new cards does not mean it's going to get reprinted. It's not the job of Wizards to make every deck idea "Standard Viable". Sometimes a fun alt win deck is just that.
We will not see Zeus, Hera, or any of the other Greek gods.
I don't know why people keep expecting these since we have not seen direct mythology since Arabian Nights.
We will not see 500 legends. Wizards has learned from Kamigawa.
We will not see myths from 10 different places. I hate to say it but it's looking doubtful that we will get any Egypt in this block. Greek myth has more then enough to draw from for 20 blocks let alone 1.
My very first impression was: "Simic dudes?" then I shifted to "Dimir clones?" but now I'm in for "Jace's angels"... the thing is:
their lack of wings is what bothers me most... for simic they arent biologically enhanced enough. And if they were Dimir doppelgangers they should look exactly like the entities they exchanged places with (normal angels etc) + I don't think we would see some Dimir card that doesnt depict their secrecy.
Jace has VERY similar face tattoos and slightly different patterns on his robe. (Which might be some kind of ravnican fashion, but still: connections in artworks are made for us to be connected. The face tattoos alone are, imho, intended to remind us of jace; exspecially because Jace is the only major character afaik with such facial tattoos)
They do in fact have wings that are light blue and are coming out of the big metal things sticking out of their backs.
If I had to venture a guess they look like Boros soldiers but with some kind of Azorious wings. Something along the lines of the effects of Angelic Armaments
From this link about Steam achievements (originally posted on MTGS here), it looks like Ramaz will be the red legend in the intro deck.
Since he is an ally of Chandra I would say that makes sense but achievement 26 is Defeat Ramaz's ally "Defeat the "Chant of Mul Daya" deck in campaign mode" which makes him/her sound G.
We are in very similar situations I'm just a little ahead of you. My girlfriend has built her own EDH deck but is still a very new player.
Get two core set precons or one of the duel decks. Give those a shot.
Keep them unaltered and play them against each other. Know that she will make mistakes and will probably lose a lot at first. Give her 1 or 2 pointers at the end of the match that will help her not lose the same way next time.
You have to remember that although we don't see Magic as a complicated game we have been playing for years and can build on that experience when shown new things, she can't. Also realize that she may not want to take it much further then understanding your hobby and maybe helping you test a deck here or there.

I would also love that as Slivers really need to just go away from Standard products but this is how it was announced on Facebook.

Venser, the Sojourner
Vraska the Unseen
Tibalt, the Fiend-Blooded
I would say have little chance of being printed again.
Koth of the Hammer
Nissa Revane
Tamiyo, the Moon Sage
Have some chance because they are the opposite sex of the Lorwyn5 of their colors and could be used to shake things up like Sorin and Lilliana.
Just because a card has some slight flavor tie in to the next block does not mean it (or it's character) will show up again.
