1 My point was that the fairies and merfolk being U/B doesn't help enemy hybrid because they are not enemy colors. It is a point against enemy as is the devon loe comment about the W/b kithkin in Shadowmoor and Eventide
2 the elf/kithkin could work as a duo but not anywhere else
Scout Duo 2
2/2
Creature - Kithkin Elf Scout
Whenever you play a green spell, ~ gets +1/+1 until EOT.
Whenever you play a blue spell, ~ gains Unblockable until EOT.
I like it but didn't Wizards say in "Ask Wizards" that they wouldn't do cross-breed creatures.I know that it is supposed to be two creatures flavorwise but effectively it is still a crossbreed
@Zasz234 last time i checked U/B is a friendly pair so it still goes against enemy hybrid
Argentum had like a tiny, tiny presence in one novel, and was never mentioned or depicted in any cardset. It was also only introduced to presage the coming of Mirrodin.
That's the point I was trying to make. We know nothing about Argentum so R&D can tell us anything they want about it. Arabian Nights gave us a very clear picture of a plane. If they simply threw that out the window they would have a lot of mad poeple on their hands.
found this site rightabout when Lorwyn spec kicked into
high gear. I have been around atleast once a day since.
Finally decided to join.

Wasn't that the way Mirrodin was revealed to be Argentum? I could be wrong, because I did quit Magic as soon as I saw affinity-cards.
Not to overstep myself but the debate is about established Magic locations.
I have never heard of Argentum or of a set based around it so they were able to mess with it. As powerful as the old-walkers were I don't think they could make a world from scratch Karn had to start somewhere.
I wouldn't mind a revisit but right now I would like to see a few new worlds first.
"The other reason we added the Witch cycle is to reward people for playing into Shadowmoor's new tribal color pairs. Kithkin in Lorwyn / Morningtide are white with a touch of green, but since Shadowmoor is a mirror image to Lorwyn, Kithkin inShadowmoor / Eventide are white with a touch of blue. Almost all of the blue Kithkin in Shadowmoor are white-blue hybrid creatures, which means you can play them in your existing mono-white or white-green Kithkin decks without any trouble."
That seems to tell me the tribes are not switching color. If we are getting enemy hybrids it will not be of the Tribes.

in standard at a time.
