Testing the following list atm, so far won local gpt for Hanover with it. Still can't convince myself to play U/B version, testing both... but prefer to play lists with PtE in agro-meta like atm in Europe.
Still can't deside on sb options, grudge-less lists are a bit scary in theory but totaly viable at practice in shakless-less meta.
Any ideas on white options for sb? kataki?
Right now i'm also testing 3x Path to Exile in the SB. (over 2 Threads and one EE)
Pros:
- fixes your affinity MU pairied with Grudge.
- fixes your AIR MU better then any bounce spells.
- helps in zoo and elfball MU.
- helps in any random creature decks. (bant agro and rest)
- can be used on your creature to gain a land.
Cons:
- u need to run Hallowed Fountain.
- Threads are better in Zoo and Elfball
- sometimes you acselerate your opponent for more mana.
testing in mws, since modo don't have cfn right now. Results are good. It's a simple answer to all this annoyng agro-plan decks. That much needed removal vs. affinity with no actual downside (they don't have basics).
Can anyone tell, whats our plan vs. different loam decks? pre- and post-board, since this match is being hard for me. I run very similar to Shin's current list with only exeption of +1 Firespout over Sower of Temptation.
What i'm trying to do pre-board:
- Counter LftL if i can. To give myself more time for establish Jitte / GEA
- Trying to race them faster then then establish Loam-Crime engine.
- Trying to catch LftL by Vendelition, but nowadays it's very very hard, since almost all skilled players dredge it by cycling a land and cast it right over cycling.
Most of wins comes from being able to race them faster, or steal of their creature via sower and still race. Most of looses comes then they got lots of lands on board and loaming every turn, killing you by worms / tarmo. While you have almost no hand.
After sideboarding i board in Relics and one more GAE and one more sower. over 1 venser, 2 spouts, 2 stifles.
The plan is almost the same, but after sb i'm trying to be more controlish rather then trying to race. Since they have choke that should be countered. After sb we have Relic, it's ofc an awesome tool, but doesn't help much if they go agressive play.
Played over 20 matches of this MU on mws / MODO and still don't undertsand if i'm doing this right.
