I was trying to think a lot about splashing...but I don't think it's for me. I feel like the mainboard is already really tight without worrying about splash cards. Back in the day, I splashed white, but it never really did a lot for me.
I always ran 23 lands with this deck and never had a problem...curve ends at 5 and that's just the 4 Stuffy Dolls..with the Coldsteel Hearts and Scrying Sheets, it's never really a problem.
The goblin guides are mainly there as a strong 1 drop to put early pressure on slower decks, getting 4-6 dmg in for 1 mana is hotness. Since this is a quasi burn deck (or a....Midrange burn/creature control something...), It just made sense to me. Outside of something like Martyr of Ashes or Mogg Fanatic, I can't really think of a better 1 drop.
And before anyone asks, I don't like Sulfurous Blast or Pyroclasm over Volcanic Fallout for a few reasons. One being that I don't want to flat out lose to heavy counter decks game 1. I also like it over Sulf blast because it doesn't kill Spitemare or Reckoner.
I also forgot to mention that another great thing about the deck is that outside of the Reckoners...It's really cheap to make. =P
Oooohhhh man, ever since they reprinted Stuffy Doll, I wanted to make another constructed deck with him. But with a modern GP looming in my area, I had to go back to the deck that I knew and loved. (a little...MODERNized, if you will =P)
This deck will mainly focus on getting out multiple, or even just 1, Stuffy Doll, or Stuffy Doll type creature, while maintaining control of the board. With Reckoner, that brings the total to 12, and they even curve out perfectly.
Let me say that although I have high hopes, I haven't been paying a lot of attention to the Modern scene, and really don't know if this deck will be able to do any good. This is also the reason I am posting this in hopes for some help with the sideboard and parts of the main deck.
As other people have said, the evidence from EBay was pretty damming. The fact that TSG said the police were only investigating 'sealed' product, and LSV said he stole singles, also leads me to believe CFB more. Because again, like others have said, how are you going to trace singles? You can't really.
So just going off the EBay account alone is enough evidence for me.
I went 3-1 with Rakdos. Had a decent removal package with some 5-6 drop fatties to end it. Only thing I lost to was GW when he had 2 8/8 vig trample trees and 3 5/5 trample worms from populate...well + mana flood, but still.
We had 256 people at our pre-release, so hard to tell what did the best lol.
M13 seems like it's pretty slow, as are most core sets. Most of the action is at 4cc and up, so I can see this working in most decks. You really have to state though, whether or not this is talking about sealed or draft, because that makes a little difference.
I actually think this is stronger in draft, due to a few reasons:
1. You can build around it in a sense. i.e. pick certain ramp higher.
2. People are less likely to have a MB or SB answer for it.
True at 7cc it doesn't win the game on it's own, but even 1 decent creature can be a threat, and any you drop after.
I'd say 4/5 in draft and maybe 3.5/5 in sealed (although I'd always play it if it's in my pool.)
I agree, I always follow the Maindeckable->Sideboard->Hatedraft rule. The only time I would take something out the ordinary is if it was worth some deal of money, because hey...I like money.
No more than the stores who kept the promos for themselves. This sort of thing happens a lot less often than some people here seem to think.
In bigger stores, sure...but I know someone that had a small town store and he would give out a few promos here and there, then sell the rest on ebay =\
I'm sure it happens a lot more in smaller shops than big ones, but still.
Lets just say that I opened this in my sealed, and since I was playing blue I threw it in as a fun joke card. Actually ended up winning me a game as it stole that xxR miracle, which would have caused me a lot of trouble.
But as others have said, it's too unreliable to MD unless you just want to have some random fun like me.

If you look at the pauper 3-1 and 4-0 decks from 2/27-2/29 post decks still comprise around 15-20% of the metagame.
To add to that, 25% (5 of 20) of the 4-0 decks were UR post.
So in the past 3 days of daily events UR post is the single most frequent deck to 3-1 or better.
Delver, goblins, and monogreen are the next 3 most popular in that order.
As far as burn I like the deck and have played it on occasion in pauper but it's a gamble playing it in tournaments because of weak matchups.
You're going off of 2 days...argument invalid! Also, like I said, it's not as popular as the other decks right now...so you basically just proved my point, even in 2 days where there was heavy post play.
I really think there needs to be DCI ruling on hand shuffling. I play poker and you're allowed to ask the dealer to stop a player from shuffling his chips for no reason. I think asking a player to stop shuffling his hand like a spaz roid because it's distracting is not a stretch.
I don't know where you play, but...no. I'd walk out of a place that would tell me I can't do what I want with my own chips.

I actually thought about trying this out in the more controlish version of the deck. I mean, it basically becomes a hard counter against everything but post after 1 is in the GY. Only minor issue would be that you HAVE to play with 4 or else they lose too much power.

Favorite magic card ever....so happy about this. Kinda weak in the current meta though...and with things like Tragic Slip =\

Haven't seen a post deck 4-0 and barely 3-1 for quite some time. Mostly goblins, storm, delver, and WW atm.
I don't know where you play, but...no. I'd walk out of a place that would tell me I can't do what I want with my own chips.
