I heard about nerdcore, made a nerdcore station on Pandora...
straight-up HATED a lot of the songs on there...the only stuff I liked was by MC Chris (who seems like he denounces the genre) and "Santana DVX" by the Lonely Island (not Nerdcore by a longshot, and featured E-40).
Aesop Rock is pretty good, obviously "Daylight" is classic, one of the best songs ever written...Immortal Technique is apparently CRAZY homophobic, which is not cool...Tech N9ne is local...shrug...Danger Doom...the DOOM part is MF Doom, or Daniel Dumille, AKA MF DOOM, DOOM, VIKTOR VAUGHN, KING GEEDORAH (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vET-sG1McCE holy ☺☺☺☺z), an amazing, bitter rapper. Jedi Mind Tricks...any recommendations?
Actually, i've come to these same realizations lately too, except immortal technique also is incredibly racist, with a pure "blame white people" attitude

They all have about 10 constucted playable cards, and all have awful uses of mechanics given by sets before them
I'm so angry after seeing Zendikar, and awaiting the 2nd set to it, but then seeing the full spoiler of this set, and just being utterly dissapointed by everythin but about 10 cards. I am a blue player at heart, but even this new EPIC jace isn't even that epic, its meh at best, not even compareable to the last one. Abyssal is one of the few actual wow cards of the set, along with Admoniton Angel and the manlands.

Seriously, you're complaining about the flores spoiler, which is one of the few good cards in the set, but you say stone idol trap is a "bomb rare", along with the black avatar guy. You also complained about the filler commons of zendikar, but look at even the best sets in history, they even had filler commons.
Point Blank: This set is awful, and the exact opposite of every hope i had the 2nd set of my favorite set since lorwyn.

Yeah man, because Treasure Map and Jace are so bad, and blue control variants aren't consistently winning T2 events.
Treasure map is a decent card draw, the best in standard (sadly), and the new jace is flashy, but its not the old jace, this set is pretty bad for blue, granted that we're just not used to having Cryptic Command and Vendillion Clique power level cards in standard, but to what they were telling us we were going to get, this set is REALLY REALLY dissapointing
This was the worst movie i've ever spent money on, period. Seriously it was just an hour and a half of crap, full of "OH MY GOD, THE DOOR CREAKED" shenannigans
In my opinion, this movie would have been infinitly better (it was terrific though) if in between the shooting of the missiles and the falling of the tree, after the colonel took a sip of coffee, he just looked ahead and just calmly said "Timber".

i can post my list later, due to schoolage at the momemt. but check out a miser life from the loam in the main, from testing its terrific, and allows a faster gifts win out (over muddle, but i still play it as well)
also, it allows rhox war monk on the board is terrific against zoo, giving you 6 anwsers sideboard is just silly
Fae has no synergy? Are you kidding? Affinity is the very definition of synergy. Please learn what words mean before using them.
And if Shards is pretty weak and awful, then how terrible must Zendikar be?
Anyways, I was just realizing how the current state of standard isn't that far removed from Shards Block Constructed. It's basically Shards + a few M10 cards + fetchlands.

Honestly, it doesn't sound like a recipe for a good movie. Movies are always heavily based in dialogue..they just have to be.

This did really seem like an article just *****ing about how you were aggrivated at this GP, honestly, if you want to work on something, make your "tournament reports" readable, something people would like to read. I like reading articles to learn more about the game and the ideas of it, i don't enjoy reading about how the GP had an excessive amount of flaws

its control, and its the most flexible deck in the format, with game against the whole meta, with a transformable sideboard
This card is really, really, really good though, and brainstorm makes me happy
