you see this is what happens when we don't stand up for our right to spoil a set... we get two so so cards.... i do like the design of cellar door though, but would have prefered to have found this out from captian color or whatever gang of thieves is spoiling this season. hopefully third party previews today will make up for this...

As I had chronicled yesterday, the leader of the footpads survived our alleyway battle. I placed a food on his chest as he lay on the cobblestones, and pointed my sword at his neck. I then demanded the knowledge I sought.
Not wanting to give too much away, I began by asking about the thatcher, but this was a dead-end. He had assaulted so many that trying to get the details of one of his victims was futile. To speak of the cursed blade was too dangerous, especially to this one. I could justify killing the others, as they had clearly sought to end my life, but to kill this one as he lay in such a position of weakness could not be rectified. Of course, there was no reason for him to know this.
I pressed my foot into his chest and drew my blade back, intending to knock him unconscious. He turned his head in anticipation of the blow, and it was then that I saw it: the same mark that had been carved into Pitre's body. The mark of Thatu.
"Thatu" escaped my lips in pure astonishment, and the man's eyes grew wide with recognition. Seizing upon the moment, I said "Thatu sent me." Another transgression, but I pray a necessary one.
His lips curled in horror, and he finally gave me the information I needed to know.
Thatu has traveled to Stensia, to a place called Maalfeld. Stensia being a haven for Vampires, it is likely that he is one of them. The sword must be quite a treasure to his kind.
I left the wretch sleeping off his headache in the alleyway. May Avacyn show him the way.
If wizards is listening, we need more preview cards to keep our attentions on the story.

This card plus Zedruu the Greathearted. Activate it's ability, then pass control to someone else. They will reveal all of the cards in their deck, and mill themselves to death, provided that they dont have one of these in their deck. Nasty card.
It's a cool idea, but the card specifies owner
: Mirror-Mad Phantasm's owner shuffles and then it specifies that player. Unsure on if that works.
Also this plus warstorm surge means you pay 1u to deal 5 damage to a creature or player. Nice!
sun Titan profits as does reveillark and the new phyrexian sac and bring back in fact with The whispering one and sun Titan in standard this has applications, but it should come with a ride in the mystery machine.
More surprised that it comes back immediately was expecting an at end of turn or something.
I also like that you can pay the activation cost like twice in a turn and slim down a deck to almost nothing. Once you have only four left in your deck it becomes a self blinker for 1u with. A five power which could easily be a win con in many decks. Don't like the art though and where is Velma?
Also when mythics originally premiered the idea was to stick cards like this there... Then they put bombs there by mistake...
It matters who's turn it is. If it's your turn the zombies trigger goes on the stack first then the eldrazi's goes on top of it so it would get shuffled back in. If its there turn the opposite happens and you get to exile it, but the rest of the yard still gets shuffled back in.
I was under the impression emrakul's ability actually waits till the current ability ends before the shuffle hence with traumatized you mill for for say 20 and then suddenly the emrakul shuffles everything in afterwards. It is your turn and you Attack with the zombie you mill for four and then you have two triggers emrakul's and the zombies second triggered ability so I believe you can stack the exile so it works even during your turn.
Also this card seems to be more powerful than it appears, this could easily produce 2/2s with mindshreiker and it really kills a lot of the cards keeping mill from working in modern and extended.
What is the interaction between undead alchemist and the shuffle eldrazi? If I mill you for 4 doesn't the eldrazi hit the graveyard and the. It's shuffle ability hits? In other words can the alchemist exile emrakul and other eldrazi? If so mill in edh became more viable...
I think this block will be more like Ravnica where you will really interesting cards that settle down to 1 - 2 usd in value i.e. essence of the wild or the rooftop storm, but never quite find a competitive deck, I might add that Zendikar might have added a lot of cards to tournament decks, but New Phyrexia I think has added more, the Phyrexian mana cards alone are fetching more than a lot of Zendikar's cards. After the initial release the search lands were all I was looking for from that set.
Anyway, Innistrad actually looks like it's going to be amazing. Even the legendary zombie that stumbles into play tapped is a pitch perfect EDH commander, commons like the hommunculus that makes more humuculus is just more interesting than commons in other sets. That's what I see is a lot of thought there, and that thought matters in the long run, I already have deck ideas for a common while Zendikar only whet my appetite when it came to rares.

both documents appear to be blank... might be something in the xml or something.
It states if you do so basically the last ability goes on the stack and resolves, the other three fizzle due to lack of target.
Yeah I was under the impression the DFC are extra similar to time shifted cards hence he might not count towards the goal. Can anyone tweet maro?
